Apart from digging a hole to remove what was left of the washing line post plus cement, and getting it clean so next week my dad/brother can put the new pole in and cement it down, so we will have a fully functional washing line again. Nothing much has happened to me today, got Muse tickets, that's about it.

God I'm lazy ;)

Ok cool Lars I will take a look!!:)

Feeder are so worth a listen: http://www.myspace.com/feederweb

"buck rogers" you may recognise :D Their other albums are great too...."Comfort in sound" and "Pushing the Sense" my fave song is one called Morning Life. :)

Piece by piece: http://www.myspace.com/feedermusic

Delays I saw at IOW and kinda liked them: http://www.myspace.com/delays

especially songs "valentine" and "long time coming"

Supertramp have too many good songs to list! but they were the original people to sing "the logical song" if you know that.

Wow a lot of links! I will check them all that's for sure. I'm so addicted to a song called "Chicago" of Clueso. Especially the end is amazing. Do you want to see the video? You have to tell me your opinion! ^^

Are you going alone?

Nope, my mate is coming as well.

It was ok! bit like karaoke with the words in the video hehe...the melody of the song was quite good and the end was good too :)

How do you like Feeder and Delays?

Nope, my mate is coming as well.

Aha!;)

I remember the night when I was coming back home after coldplay´s concert!!

I was really more dead than alive!....My ears were aching and I couldn´t move any of my muscles!!!:p it´s the price you gotta pay when you want to be in the first 3 lines in front of the stage!!!:wink3:.....:p

Did you understand a word besides Chicago? :P ;)

I just listened to The Delay's "Long Time Coming". It was nice! What a pity that they also cancelled their performance. :D

"Save Us" by the Feeders is amazing! I like the song! Wow you Brits always have so great musicians on your island. I'm impressed!

I understood a few really small words...lol! pathetic :( haha!!

Yeah, thats the one thing the UK is good for.....music and bands...we have so many good bands!! I  it!

I reckon that you would love all of Feeder's music......maybe you can listen to it somewhere (did you say i tunes or something?) :)

oh, I also paid that price when I went to the Coldplay concert they did here! Anyway, it was worth, I think!

If you want to get into Feeder, buy/download the singles collection which came out a few months ago.

Oh yeah thats a good idea!^

I didnt buy that because I had pretty much all of their other albums!

Iris and Giulia....me and Steph waited 13 hours for the Isle of Wight festival at the front!!! it was uncomfortable....so hot and cramped, we had to watch all the day's bands.... but worth it in the end. :D for Coldplay

;) it´s always worth it!

I couldn´t imagine to go to a concert and not standing in the crowd in front of the stage now!

I went to 2 concert where I sat on the stands and saw everything from above....i think you can´t really get all the power and the energy of the music and the band from up there!

Oh yeah thats a good idea!^

wow!!!!13 hours!!! I thought my 9 hours in cologne were a record!:p

Hehe Kara, well you understood a few words. It's better than nothing! :)

Every week I'm listening to new bands coming from Great Britain. It's amazing! :D I spent so much money into records the last couple of months... :P

Yeah, I will listen to a few more songs of Feeder. :) Thanks Dave for the info.

wow!!!!13 hours!!! I thought my 9 hours in cologne were a record!:p

and we had to STAND all this time!!!! :dozey: :) (as it was a festival) Did you wait outside and sit down or stand?

wow!!!!13 hours!!! I thought my 9 hours in cologne were a record!:p

9 hours :P

I'm there on average about 1-2 hours before doors opening, no long stays for me

oh my... Kara!!!! Did you go there??

I only listened that gig in the radio and it was brilliant, so I can't imagine how it would had been if I were there!!!! I'm glad to know it was worth (though almost everything is worth to do for Coldplay). Anyway, I'm sure that performed other bands who you both liked, so it wasn't that long the wait! :)

In that concert that I went to I was there at 11am (more or less) and it began at 9:30pm, so I only waited 10 hours and I achieved to be at the second rows! yay!

and we had to STAND all this time!!!! :dozey: :) (as it was a festival) Did you wait outside and sit down or stand?

I thought the concert was gonna begin at 5(how not!) as it was written on the tickets...so the doors were open at 3p.m and we entered.....we got the 2nd line in front of the stage and we had to wait till 9 p.m....we got there at 12 though!....we had to stand outside...and I didn´t have anything to eat or drink=> I lost 2kg!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D

oh, me neither - at least if I'm really interested in that band (like Coldplay). Nevertheless, I wouldn't mind to be not that close from the stage if I only like the group ('cos in this case, if I can hear them it's enough for me!) :)

Though I haven't been in a gig which I had to sit, I'm sure you are right! If you are among the crowd you can breathe the atmosphere the band creates, otherwise, if you see everything from above, you're too far for appreciate it! :\

hey everybody. Oh my you guys have waited some long hrs for a concert!.

Yea siting sucks! At the coldplay concert I went to I could only get seat tickets and I was in the second to last row :P .

Kara, I'm reading the new Musikexpress magazine right now and I found an article about a big beach party in Brighton in 2002, organized by Fatboy Slim. Were you there? It must have been incredible! Fatboy Slim planned another beach party this year but it wasn't allowed by the police.

hey Wendy!

in that gig that I went to I had the opportunity of picking between sitting tickets or the standing ones and I had no doubts (btw, the sitting ones were more expensive)
