Poor or poor?

Featured Replies

I'm almost sure there is a thread like this one...and i even think i created it!

But let's have this question again:

What is worse:

-being poor and loved?

or

-living in good standards and not being loved?

I would prefer the first one....

a guy of my class........well....I have been to a birthday party on saturday....it ended a bit sad because this guy got to know that his mum tried to commit suicide some days before by taking pills.....he was outside and crying and many people stood in a circle next to him and tried to help him....

I was inside so I wasn't really part of all this...

after the party I brought him and some friends home with my car.he had been cheered up you didn't even realise that something was wrong.

After I brought him home( well he slept at another friend's house) another friend told me his story:

He has 3 brothers, one of them mentally handicapped, the other two just before becoming imprisoned, his father doesn't give a damn what happens to his children, and his mum tried to commit suicide...and he is in between all this.

he is such a nice guy....I like him!

He got the chance last year to go from the lowest school system to the highst...to our school!Respect!

So...at the party he was like "nobody loves me" etc.....my friends cheered him up....that he could come to them with his problems etc....

I thought after hearing this:"man how great my life is!"

And that it is much more worse not to be loved by the family than not having much money....

2nd one is worse, it's too obvious

you don't choose the another one, only if you're a bitch

^vrai

it's so very obvious...that I don't even think someone would DARE choose the other option! :sick2:

I say living in good standars and then manage to make people love me.

That sounds way easier than getting rid of poverty

you're a bitch

No man' date=' I'm realistic. :smug:[/quote']

i'm not sure you would care about poverty if you'd be rich icon22.gif

I'd choose first, that's not a problem, I don't have money enen now

You can't get people to love you if you're rich. You can, however, get people to pretend like they love you and end up getting stabbed in the back. :smug:

mhh ... i do not think it's obvoius what to choose ...

of course i'd pick the first one ... but ...

we all wanna live and it's possible to live without being loved ... so ...

when you're rich you can help other people ... i'd rather save other people's lives with my money than being loved +_+

so NOT true, you can get people to love you if you're rich. i know rich people who have wives that truly love them. you can be loved and rich, its less likely but still happens and is possible.

Obviously the first one, but only in theory, Charles was right earlier about being realistic.

If you put it into theory, and you were put into an environment where it started off being unloved but wealthy, I'd make someone love me, Im downright loveable :nice:

But if I was put into an environment where I'm safe and rich, but to never be loved, there would be no point in even living

^If you had money coming out your ass, I'd love you:wink3: LMFAO

Uhm.... Well, it all depends on the circumstances. Ideally, I'd like to be rich and have the world love me.:smug: Much like Britney Spears! Ok, or not. But I would like to have money so I could do good with it, which is my semi-goal in life. Personally, I don't much go for incredibly materialistic people, and I don't consider myself one... So I'd rather be poor. With someone rich who's in love with me.

Yes. That sounds about right.
