I've thought so many times about buying a lithograph or two, but they're so expensive, and it makes more sense to save that money to get the actual singles/demos/etc. :nice:

 

 

So today on my favorite radio show (Bob & Sheri) they were talking about the "Everything Sucks" phase that a lot of teenagers go through in those cynical years between about 15 and 17 (any present company of that age group excluded of course ;)) and Bob used Coldplay as an example of something a teen might say "sucks" without knowing much about it. In a mocking voice he said something like "It's just four chords and a guitar! It sucks!" Then at the end of that segment Max faded to commercial break with a bit of "Clocks." :D It was awesome.

But I agree with saving up money for the actual music. Then again, I don't like buying merch (other than albums) outside of shows. That's why I never owned anything Coldplay (other than the songs) for years, until I finally saw them. hehe.

My iPod is out of charge and the cord is still packed somewhere in one of the many, many boxes stacked around my new place. :( I have to go to sleep tonight listening to nothing at all instead of Coldplay.

i made this really huge gasp and then my brother changed the station on purpose and i was like "ANDREW PUT THAT BACK ON!!!" and so then i kept changing the station trying to find it again and when i found it my brother said "hey wait that was Jump put that back on" and we were fighting with the radio and then i was like "you like this album!!" and he said "i like this song! i don't actually remember much of the album though" so i said "well even better you like this song! keep it on" and he said "yeah, but torturing you......."

 

he kept it on :D

My speakers are fucked up. For some reason I can't explain, they play everything in high tones. I am now listening to VLV (to make it reach the 50 million) and Chris sounds like a chipmunk :laugh3:

i was on the way back from my grandparents' house and my sister was trying to find a station and LiTii was on from the beginning and i gasped really loud and i was like, "GO BACK THAT WAS COLDPLAY!" and she glared at me and she was like, "will you stop doing that?! its so annoying and just for that i'm changing the station." and i was like, "ERICA PLEASE! :(" and she was like, "no. listen to it on your iPod." so i did but i pouted the whole time. :lol:

The Coldplay karma was definetly with me the other night... I was listening to the radio and a song I didn't want to hear came on so I switched channel - and what had almost just started? :stunned: In My Place! :shocked2: :dance: I freaked!! :freak: I mean, what are the odds that a Coldplay song comes on right when I change channel? :stunned:

I never hear that oldie on the radio!! But it's the same radio channel that played Trouble not so long ago, so they are true to Coldplay music. :smug:

earlier my friend and i texted a radio station and asked them to play lit ii and they said "good call! haven't played that in awhile"

 

so i've been listening ever since then waiting for it to come on.

they just talked about how Tampa was cancel and how there wasn't further news about the "medical issues" and then they played the scientist!! :dance::dance::dance:

 

this is the same station that played yellow this morning! :D

this morning when i was at the doctor's i was listening to my ipod in the waiting room and when the guy called my name to come back he said "do you sleep with those things in?? what are you listening to today?" and i said "coldplay! :D " and he said "that's a group i actually recognize!! that's the first time in at least 2 weeks i know a band someone's listening too"

then my dad said something about how its always coldplay for me :wacky::D

Today in the morning I was very suirprised to hear Speed Of Sound on the radio, because for ukrainian stations it is big rarity. I always like to hear them on the radio because Chris voice always sounds more mellow that on my iPod or on PC.

 

But also it was not only song (!) it was very good sign because at 4 pm I've knew that I get dutch visa and tickets for two shows at Nijmegen!!!
