I wouldn't say cool exactly :P but he likes Coldplay, U2, Radiohead, Snow Patrol and Muse so I guess his taste in music is pretty cool :D

I guess these are just gloves with glowing fingertips. They make pretty cool visual effects.

I think they're named 'Coldplay" because of Charlie Brown and all its glowing, flashing & colours.
