YAY!!!

I got my tote!!!!!!!! It's so beautiful, it's sitting here next to my new mug! :wacky: :dance: It was so great to come home and see it sitting on my front steps, since yesterday and today have been really shitty for me and I really needed something to cheer me up...

 

(I also got my Doctor Who Series 2 DVDs at the same time, which was incredibly exciting as well, but unrelated to this :P)

 

Also, I got into another fight with someone today over Coldplay :rolleyes: She saw that I was wearing a Coldplay sweatshirt and she was like "God, I hate Coldplay. Chris Martin is such an arrogant prick." When I pointed out all of their charity work, she just responded with "yeah, but he's so obnoxiously self-righteous about it"... I asked her if she'd ever even read an interview with Chris, because she was so wrong! I eventually had to give up, she was just too determined to hate them.

the tote IS beautiful!! i can't wait to wear it at school tomorrow.

hah hah i plan on wearing my coldplay shirt tomorrow so now tomorrow i'll have my shirt, my bracelets, and my new tote that is all coldplay related!! yay!

Yesterday before my science lesson started my friend and I were listenening to The Scientist reversed on my iPod. After the song had finished I was asking her "What will I get from you if learn this whole song, the reversed version?". :P She obviously didn't want to give me anything else than the honour. :rolleyes: :P Anyway, then I sang "Nobody said it was easy" reversed (I gave my best shot). Apparently it was so unexpected and sounded funny, because she was totally cracking up and then I started to crack up. We were about to laugh our asses off! :lol:

haha i should do that now...it's like yesterday my friends showed me how to play part of the scientist on piano and then they moved on to another song and each time i would try to play this other song i subconsciously started playing the scientist this happened like 10 times...

i wish i could play the piano so i could play coldplay songs...

i can't play the piano they just showed me those two songs and surprisingly it was ok....the scientist sounds exactly like the song..my goal is 2 now learn the piano so i can just play coldplay songs and the guitar but i think i want to learn the piano first!!!we can learn together!!

I play keyboard, and I am so lucky that they have a Coldplay music sheet book at my local library (:o), where I work, which I of course borrowed when I found out. I'm borrowing it again now. I showed it to my music teacher and I had already taught myself the main part of Clocks (without sheets). He said that we could built up on that, since I was already so good at it, so that's what I'm playing at the moment (or should be practising :uhoh:). :)

I have some trouble with the ending of the "nothing else compares" part and to the ending, but other than that, it is going fine.

yeah, i didn't know what that was either. i thought maybe they were the first letters of their kids' and wives' names, but i don't think it is. hmm.

 

i'll have a look at the blue writing under better light, but zoe could probably help us out by reading off her mug!

we can't read the ones in light blue, the word under music, and the other letters at the bottom. its a G-K- + -$-I-BO is what it looks like to me. what do the other ones mean beside and G and K? if i even read it right....

Well the only thing I can decipher under the word "music" is "granny", so... :stunned:

 

the word next to the equal sign is "support", the words after Nick Frost are "Ash", "Embrace", and I think "clean" (?), the letters above "yoga" are "M A A R R N M", and the last light blue is "curb your enthusiasm" :lol:

 

Well I figured Gwyneth had to be on there somewhere, and since Kate is her middle name, the GK would fit :nice: They made this in September '03, so by that point I wouldn't be surprised if he referred to her after "most of all".

^that's why it's so cool! that was the only song on VLV that we knew was older :D. i remember seeing that in like 2005 or whatever and saying "huh? :huh:" but then it all made sense this year!

I'm guessing that all of the letters are the names of family members or close friends, and he just doesn't want to put their names on it (for obvious reasons). I would love to know who is apparently as important as Gwyneth, though...the "B I BO" :thinking:

 

And yeah, I've always thought that the "Jonny's solo on 42" thing is soooo awesome, that's one of the reasons that I've always wanted this!

 

EDIT: I figured that the letters M A A R R N M were the initials of his family, but aren't there too many letters? Unless that last M stands for "Martin", I suppose...? *shrug*
