yea, and i could have gotten closer cuz the people near me on my right wanted us to scoot in to get a better view but the stupid guy next to me didnt move so i was like "jerk!" well in my head :P it was still nice view though.

 

and your view is amazing as well! but i think next time i need to take a stool or something cuz peoples fat heads get in the way dont they?

Me and my friend spent a lot of the day reminiscing about Coldplay today and then we nicknamed her cat, "Cat Martin" - because we were pimping up a pic of her cat and we gave it earrings....:rolleyes:

I had a very Coldplay filled day. While driving, I drove past Prospect's Street. It was a very rainy day today. While in the supermarket "Clocks" came on, and my friend told me that we are taking the 8:42 train into the city on Friday. My softball coach also told us "Don't Panic".

ahh this time last year, i was not able to sleep cuz i had just got back from my first coldplay concert. :heart:

 

i was watching the clips i got from the concert and my pics, and i still couldnt believe that my dream had come true, even though i had some LIJ butterflies telling me that it was true.

 

ahh nostaligia!! makes me wanna cry!

that whole summer was something special.

and the concert marked the start of a new life for me

 

i was about to turn 18...got my first job... i had a best friend.. i was going to move out and away from my mom, going to live with my friend, be adopted and go to an Art school far away.. and finally after 9 years of wishing and wanting so very badly... i was going to see 5 of my favorite people ever performing right in front of me <3 It marked the first day of the rest of my life.

 

at this time last year.... i was sitting at the very top of the hotel out on the fire escape looking out over all of San Francisco clutching paper butterflies in my hand and being really really happy to be lucky enough to have lived long enough to see what I had <3

that summer was special for me too. even though it was a little tough. oh so im a year older than you, i had just turned 19 by the time I went to the concert. i waited seven years to see them live also. so it was a dream come true as well.

 

it was also special cuz, my family was going through a very tough time with money troubles. so it was kind of a miracle that i was able to go. i decided to spend the money by going because i thought, well if it all goes downhill for us, at least ill have this happy memory to keep me going.

 

thankfully things got better for my family:) and i still got my happy memory:)

 

oh and at the concert i loved how Chris (during the b-stage) acknowledged that many of us had sacrificed things to be there.:)
