Bruno mars annoys me because his song "grenade" part of it sounds like clocks. He ripped it off coldplay :angry:

so everytime it comes up, I make sure to plug in my ipod and play clocks instead :D

Oh and I went to Chuck E. Cheese today and I played Yellow too, and they do let you play the whole song too, but you have to play on Hard or Expert, which I did. :P I was trying to get the highest score, but I only got to 5th place, but hey at least my name is on the scoreboard now. :awesome:

Once I read somewhere that Kelly Rowland - who is Chris' good friend Beyoncé Knowles's cousin - asked permission to use the CLOCKS sample for "When love takes over". Maybe that is speculation or a rumour, but the Oracle wrote that the songs are very similar, but that Kelly Rowland's song is not a rip-off.

 

And I love both songs and find it nice that COLDPLAY inspires artists to make wonderful songs.

 

After When Love Takes Over was released, VH1, Denmark started playing CLOCKS even more - and both songs are played frequently. :thumbsup:

Thanks for posting this including Speed of Sound - it was so nice to see again the travel through space passing planets and all during Speed of Sound in Herning. I think that it was the only place where the Speed of Sound was played during that leg of the tour.

I went shopping at a supermarket called Netto today and a lot of stuff there had the Coldplay font on them :wacky:

It was David Guetta who wrote the song and I know Phil considers it to be a rip-off. It's like one note difference between the two riffs so that doesn't make it eligible for copyright infringement.
