when Paradise was being played on BBC for the first time i was at work .. i was desperate as i could´t listen to it and people already had written their feedbacks.. a while later one kind coldplayer send me .mp3 version of the song. (very kind of him) not to be disturbed i grabbed mp3 player and went to coffee room .. but even though i was totally concentrated on the song it took me several listens just to get used to the idea that it was really Coldplay .. hah

i am so tempted to listen to UIF but i must resist!!!!!!

i dont know if i can make it till the 24th! :\

this just made me even more excited for the album!! i blasted Paradise in the car today cuz i was so happy to hear about UIF :P

 

rct: its gonna be really tough not having the physical copy of MX right away. I bought the special edition so i wont have it in my hands till Decemeber. I didnt think it would be a big deal and that i could wait, but this will my first time that i wont be running to the store on the release date to purchase it and hold it in my hands :(

i guess it will be worth it though :)

so today is Mexico's independence day, and this show on tv are playing a song, that keeps saying VIVA mexico! and i just thought haha VIVA coldplay :P

I'll post it here just so I've said it: This is the first time they've tried UIF live, so it can only get better. No matter how much you rehearse and prepare, a song never works the first time live like it does in practice. I like it so far, but I'm guessing as they play it live more, and when we hear it on MX, it will be amazing.

 

And yes, I'm so glad the negative comments on UIF are fewer than the last few songs! :)

Oooh ooh, I live at a dorm and have my window open and suddenly I could hear The Scientist playing from one of the rooms across the lawns in one of the other buildings of the residential a moment ago. :wacky:

The person must have played it pretty loudly because there are two lawns and a path between the buildings yet I could hear it.

 

I've begun reading English at the university and there is a fellow Coldplay fan on my team. We freaked a little about it at a party the first week. :P There's at least one other person on my team (in my class, if you like) who really like them too. She asked me what my favourite song by them is and I replied "Politik" which she said is good so she must at least have heard that song. :)

I think that the video for crests of waves would have been wonderful in a beach in cali, and have coldplay surfing :P I don't know, but to me it has a californian sound to it :D

Just re-listened to UIF. What's everyone on about? The chorus goes once after the first verse and only twice the second time. Sheesh. ENL goes over and over (And I LOVE it for that.) especially live. But I do hope Will's drums get a little more work on the album.

Yesterday I was zapping TV channels and happened to land on a German channel that right at that moment played a 2DF (the channel?) promo including Life in Tecnicolor as the soundtrack. :wacko:

I actually skipped the channel at first but instantly recognized the music and went back to it.

Yesterday I went to a social at my school. There was a live band there setting up their instruments.

 

Out of the corner of my eye I saw something burst up in flames. (Later I found out there were fire dancers there). Then I thought "It would be cool if the band played up in flames. Then the drummer was just casually bouncing a volleyball on the drums, and it sounded like the drum part for up in flames.

Yesterday I went to go see The Lion King 3D :heart:, and while waiting for it to start my sister and me were watching the live stream of ACL. It was pretty funny cuz I bet we looked weird :P two girls glued to a smartphone screen, while sharing earphones, and randomly smiling with delight. We had to control ourselves to not scream, and sing along :P it was fun, and it ended at a perfect time! It ended in time for my sis and me to finally get some straws wwe needed for our drinks, and also it ended before her phone died, it had started to blink the red light before fix you was over. It was great eating pop corn and watching ETIAW get played :D

 

This made me wish they had played glastonbury in theaters :(

but it´s a bit weird to have Coldplay single/album promotions in the airport shuttle BUS, isn´t it moreover when it is just between the city guides videos for tourists .. :D
