So I was having a music discussion in Art today with a couple of my guy friends about how music on the radio today sucks. Somehow the discussion lead to Green Day / Linkin Park (my friend's two favorite bands) and he said that Green Day was the best and biggest band in the world.

 

I kinda laughed at him and said, "You're kidding right? Green Day are alright, but the biggest band in the world right now is U2."

 

And, I kid you not, my friend said, "Who's U2? Another crappy band like Coldplay?"

Since the succes of Viva La Vida and the live reputation it has, the band have only released songs with wooooh-moments in it (Christmas Lights, ETIAW, Paradise) I hope it's a coincidence because I think if Mylo Xyloto has 14 woooooh-moments, I'm thinking we'll get tired of it halfway through

 

I thought about the same too.. I didn't minded the Ooooooh's in Viva, but now it's too much.. Not that awesome anymore..

I was way too much worried about it as well .. but now i just don´t cared (too tired to mind what others think) .. i am waiting for 2moro´s Austin live perfomance and then the album to be released .. I hope those 2 things will sort out everything what´s going on here.

just couple of minutes ago I was listening to Politik in my earphones at work sitting in front of the computer. My collegue approached me to ask about something. At that time there was this mind blowing ending moment of this song and what i though of doing was just to show him one simple gesture meaning to give me a moment and shut up. he walked away. Only after the song was finished i realized what i did .. it´s all Politik´s fault, the ending always freaks me out! i didn´t want to miss that moment so .. i didn´t do it on purporse hah!!!

good thing is that we get along with each other well, so hope he will understand, moreover i will let him listen the sond during lunch break :)

When Paradise came out I behaved like this... Because I was listening to it at school, trying to understand if I liked it, how much I liked it, the lyrics, how melodies entwined... And then my best friends wanted to ask me something and they tried, joking, to click on the "pause" button on my mobile and succeeded... If I weren't that concentrated on the song, I probably would've shouted at them! And I never do, I never quarrel with them! But they couldn't understand it was a deeply important moment for me, or maybe they did a bit but they were jokingly annoying me on purpose... So I just sharply drew it away and started listening over again, feeling a bit irritated :dozey:
