Drivers ed teacher: Now make a 2 point turn.

Student: How do I do that?

Teacher: You'll go backwards, but then, you'll go forwards again.

  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

  • I ran away
    I ran away

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

omg :mellow::mellow::mellow:

Well searching in my computer I've found a photo that I took a time ago and I just wanted to share it with you. This photo was taken in a train station which is at 5-10 minutes walking from my home. There are two railways (one of them is the one I take for my trip so it is active nowadays, and I think the other one is inactive). Just guess what number form the two railways if you put them together...

2 point turn? IM pretty sure you mean 3 :P

I was in a car park with my cousin, who is also a huge fan of Coldplay, and we were talking about something I can't remember now. Suddenly she stopped and said: "Look, Mylo Xyloto!". I looked and it was a car with the letters "MX" on its numberplate! A regular person would not have noticed but we immediately associate that with Coldplay! :D

I decorated all my binders with MX-related stuff today before I went to school. It looks so awesome. I will post pics when my camera is either fixed or replaced, cuz I broke it last week

OK, 42 has started cropping up in my dreams, lol. And I'm sure I'm not the first to note that the UK release date...24...is the reverse of '42'. :)

lol, it happened the same to me few times (I even posted a pic here on this thread some pages back)

Today, there was a campus event that was BLASTING Viva la Vida. If you were anywhere outside within probably a mile you could hear it!

Awesome pick-me-up.

Wondering if when we receive the pop-album edition (the people who pre-ordered it), we will be able to see some of the lyrics on the poster that it includes, especially on the right and left sides.

It happened to me a lot of times with CK :D

It was the first time that this happened to me altough I had tried to find it before. Next time, I will take a picture! :D

Don't you know in which page is that? I would like to see it :)

Unfortunately, in my country, there is no "k" on numberplates, so I won't see that! :(

Walking up the street I heard a radio blasting from a parked car, and the DJ (a friend of mine) was saying something about some band always trying to improve their product.. Each album, each live show, each song. It made me think of Coldplay and then she played an interview clip...with CHRIS!!! I froze on the spot to listen, and practically skipped the rest of the way home, lol. Nice to hear that lovely voice in the middle of running errands in the pouring rain. :chris:

I work at a movie theater called Cinemark. So I went to work today and was behind the concession stand minding my own business when I start to hear a familiar tune, I look up and low and behold a shortened version (1:30) of the ETIAW video is playing on the T.V.s in the lobby that play the pre-movie advertisements (these play on the big screens before the previews of a movie start as well). The first time I heard it I completely forgot my customer's order as I gawked at the screen. :P I was so shocked! Usually I have to listen to the likes of Hanson, Joe Jonas, Plain White T's (I swear to God I had to listen to Hanson's "Give a Little" for around 7 months) mixed in with Android ads, car ads, and local business ads. It continued to distract me every time it came on the rest of the day. :laugh3: It made my day so much better, though. It's one little piece of relief in those annoying ads (and bad music) that repeat every 30 minutes or so. It was funny because the song after it is so sucky in comparison. It's a country song by an artist I don't know called "falling in love on a ferris wheel." Yeah even the name is bad.

Wow that's so cool ^^ does anyone know when Mylo Xyloto will be out in stores in Dubai? I've already asked in the Arab Coldplay thread but it's pretty dormant :)

I was walking down a pretty busy street at night and it was dark, and I was arguing about something, then all of a sudden this car zooms down the road and it was blasting Clocks. It was the coolest thing I've ever heard in the space of a few seconds. :D Because usually if they're blasting anything, it'll be rap.

I have read somewhere that babies can recognize the noises they heard inside their mothers belly.. When I get pregnant i'm going to play Coldplay for my belly all the time. :charming:

Yeah if I ever have a baby, I thought about the possibility of forcing my wife to make the baby hear Coldplay too :D

Are there more people on Coldplay fast until the album drops (or leaks)?

I am, but I cheated this morning and watched Rock in Rio, which I do not regret.

:escaping:

I did a Coldplay fast (to some extent--I listened to one song a day) before Paradise dropped. I might try it again; I've already stopped listening to the new songs for about a month now
