RCT: I was at a Foo Fighters concert last night, and Dave Grohl, the lead singer said something along the lines of "It's going to be a long night tonight. We don't play f'n(bad word:P) 2 hour shows like your favorite bands do. Sometimes we play 2.15, sometimes we play 2.20, 2.25, 2.30, and sometimes we play 2.45..." I thought of Coldplay when he said this because Coldplay plays 2 hour shows or less. :( Foo Fighters ended up playing a 2.45hr show which was great! It was a 2 hour show with a 45 minute encore. I wish Coldplay would do that! :bomb:

I had a dream about a movie made about the band...but they played themselves. All I remember was Guy smoking up and going on about the nature of existence,lol. I wish I could remember what he said because it was really cool, and even made sense at the time.

MX got 3.5 out of 5 from Rolling Stone! Yaaaaay!

So in addition to playing ETIAW on the T.V.s in the lobby if the movie theater I work at, they are now playing Paradise during Cinemasounds (music that plays while you are waiting for your movie to start). I get to hear these songs when I'm cleaning theaters. They must have some kind of huge promotional deal with My theater chain, Cinemark. I'm loving hearing all the Coldplay at work. Makes it more enjoyable.

haha funny you should say that. yesterday i was walking around campus and there was a person from Jostens set up promoting their rings. i thought of you and your ring, and i did thought maybe i would do what you did :P

 

My Class Ring. :dazzled: I receieved it today.Some people may think that it's dumb for me to put Coldplay on my class ring since I can't change it ever again, but I feel that Coldplay's been a big part of my high school life; therefore, I think it deserved a spot on it. Also when I ordered it, the man helping me asked me if Coldplay was my favorite band, with a big smile, I said Yes. :D

 

Also, yesterday when I was donating blood, I distracted myself by watching Coldplay videos. It helped a bit, but it still hurt. :P It was cool though because right when it was my turn to donate, Homecoming started playing as well on the radio station they were playing. It would have been even better if it was a Coldplay song though. :)

RCT: It's funny how I hated ETIAW and MM at first.. Now I think they are both alright. :) I love Major Minus, but I wouldn't call ETIAW for their best song.. I'm pretty excited for MX. ^^

Today I watched Dan's on VH1 Denmark. One of the songs played was the Beatles / All you need is Love / Love is all you need :heart: Then Dan Rachlin said: And now to a current band that could be compared to the Beatles.

 

Then "Every Tear is a Waterfall" started. All this made me get goosebumps.

ANother Coldplay dream. Thistime hanging around what seemed to be a friend's house. Chris was playing CDs and accidenaltly put on a mixed CD with PoC on it. Of course, I have no idea what it really sounds like so it was pretty hazy in the dream.

 

I really thought it meant MX would leak today,lol.

Coldplay could be compared to The Beatles only in terms of popularity. Not even then. What a pathetic thing to say that.

My son (who I am gradually forcing to become a coldplay fan) - as he is coming to the O2 Concert with me - and I play a game when we watch TV adverts...

 

Who can get the first Coldplay reference in the advert.. it can be as silly as - 'That ball was YELLOW' ... or as amazing as the Paradise single being used at backing on a TV trailer! Both happened last night during the Jonathan Ross TV show..

 

It makes the adverts go a LOT faster and you even enjoy them LOL.. Just thought I'd share... :laugh3:

I went to go listen to HLH from Live on Letterman and there was an advertisement.... for COLDPLAY! :awesome: It was for the Unstaged show and it was AWESOME!!! Best advertisement EVER!!! :D
