my formal is coming up in a few weeks. its pretty exciting because we all get to dress up and look gorgeous! the only downside to it is how much money it costs for one night, i mean argggh it costs a fortune.

 

this year we got a really nice hotel called the 'sofitel' in the city, and everything is pretty swish so im looking forward to the glam of it all. But im sure it will be a really memorable night for everyone. hahaa kodak moments for sure!! though i dont have a 'date' yet, and ill probably just go on my own with my friends "shock horror, you cant go without a partner" thats what they all say. but in the end its who ur going to have the most fun with! i dont wanna be looking after my date all night, man i wanna be dancing !!!

sounds great! are you in Yr 12? and yes formals are bloody expensive, even if you manage to get a cheap dress! :rolleyes:

 

mines in a couple of months and i havent even looked for a dress yet! (ok i sound silly and girlie but my holidays are almost over and school work will be on my mind leading up to the formal)

its a week after my Coldplay concert, yay!

im gonna try and get a partner. i have one particular special boy in mind, but chances are good in getting him :(

Oh god.....prom...this is what i alwas connect with America....typical american...whenever you see an american tv show maybe on TV there is always prom included...and the big question:"Who'll go to the prom with me!What should I wear?"....:snore:

ha yeah. our school's nothing like that. people respect each other's decisions on whether they take someone or not, which is quite lovely.

we don't do that. Maybe we are gonna make a dinner or something all the class together but nothing more XD. I don't know I think in spain we don't do that but maybe in some schools yes. But in mine no. But I think is something cool.

well.....we have an a-level celebration in school..it is seen a bit as a prom..but not as glamorous....and you don't have to have a date...I mean nobody cares aout this question....yeah...next year is my turn!:lol:

it's your prom. if you thought your prom would be all about getting smashed and having a piss up, then you're more deluded than i thought.

 

it's not all about the social scene and it's not all about alcohol. broaden your horizons buddy...

I use to have a looot of fun and I have never been drunk... I drink sometimes but just a little bit.. I can't see the good point in to be drunk..
