I like people like Richard Pryor who could mix it up, do various styles, including being fantastic at gross-out humour, and then switching to doing hilarious dog impressions. Honestly though, lots of crude comedians (Meaning the amateur ones you find in pubs and such) just base their entire show on trying to shock people, you hear more gasps of surprise then laughter from the crowd, and thats pretty lame. Apparently on Friday night I thought of the cruelest joke anyone has ever heard in the style of a standup comedian, and I know what the joke is but theres no way I'm telling you it.
