May 17, 200620 yr I got my yearbook today and in the back there's a section called the "YearZine" And it basically highlights all of the trends, fashions, music, sports, ect of the past year. Coldplay's in it! There's the picture of Chris from the Make Trade Fair photo shoot (The one where he's looking up). And it says "Coldplay's X&Y debuted at number one and and stayed there for three solid weeks". Then later there's a list of top tours and Coldplay is 6th I think. And then a list of top-selling albums and Coldplay's 6th again I beleive. Oh and they show an mp3 player and on the screen is "Clocks" by Coldplay. xD THEY'RE EVERYWHERE. Anywho... just thought I'd share. Thought it was mighty cool myself. :smug:
May 17, 200620 yr our year was going to have a year book.....why did they not get round it it :laugh4: aww thats sweet lucky you :)
May 17, 200620 yr Gah, I go to a little private christian school, and my yearbook advisor would never "waste" the time to put something like that in our yearbook. :K
May 17, 200620 yr That's way nice! My high school yearbooks never featured any cool bands like that..

May 17, 200620 yr How nice to have your love of Coldplay commemorated in a small way, in your yearbook.
May 18, 200620 yr That's cool. Man, if I worked in the yearbook, I'd be cleverly plugging Coldplay all over the place. :laugh4:
May 18, 200620 yr :laugh3: I'm on my school's newspaper staff and I plug Coldplay in pretty much every article I write.
May 18, 200620 yr At least you'd do it correctly! In my school paper they had a "happenings" corner where they put events like concerts, CD releases, all that. I was excited to see Coldplay's Anaheim concert in there... but the date was off by almost a month! :laugh4:
May 18, 200620 yr I'd so do that too our yearbook if I was allowed to. O.o I suggested that our yearbook theme be kinda with baudot code, but someone recognized it from X&Y and said we shouldn't use it, lolz.
May 19, 200620 yr that's awesome frostbite :nice: i get to write the yearbook. gosh i love power. :laugh1: :uhoh: they can expect subtle coldplay pluggings all over.
May 20, 200620 yr my yearbook will probably have them in too, because we always have a section like that. in the past we've had paul mccartney, bono, george harrison, green day, and the like. i love having that section BTW, the section isnt usually created by the yearbook staff, its bought from the yearbook publisher, so the yearbook staff at a particular school has nothing to do with what goes in there. i wish it did. id throw in coldplay, U2, beatles all over the place for music, brokeback mountain and crash for movies, and a million other things all over the place.
May 21, 200620 yr I hope they are my yearbook, but they probably won't be. Not many people like Coldplay at my school.:(
May 22, 200620 yr My private Christian school is retarded and wouldn't put stuff like that in our yearbook. pah.
