I agree.

They are the same thing. Nearly all this surface arguing we see on our TV's is just to make us think there is a real debate going on and that both parties will do things differently.....this is not the case anymore.

'Bush doesn't think America should be an actual place'

Tancredo says president believes nation should be merely 'idea' without borders

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo.

PALM BEACH, Fla. – President Bush believes America should be more of an idea than an actual place, a Republican congressman told WND in an exclusive interview.

"People have to understand what we're talking about here. The president of the United States is an internationalist," said Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo. "He is going to do what he can to create a place where the idea of America is just that – it's an idea. It's not an actual place defined by borders. I mean this is where this guy is really going."

Tancredo lashed out at the White House's lack of action in securing U.S. borders, and said efforts to merge the U.S. with both Mexico and Canada is not a fantasy.

"I know this is dramatic – or maybe somebody would say overly dramatic – but I'm telling you, that everything I see leads me to believe that this whole idea of the North American Union, it's not something that just is written about by right-wing fringe kooks. It is something in the head of the president of the United States, the president of Mexico, I think the prime minister of Canada buys into it. ...

"And they would just tell you, 'Well, sure, it's a natural thing. It's part of the great globalization ... of the economy.' They assume it's a natural, evolutionary event that's going to occur here. I hope they're wrong and I'm going to try my best to make sure they're wrong. But I'm telling you the tide is great. The tide is moving in their direction. We have to say that."

I still dont see why its so bad. Why would it be bad? how would it affect us and the rest of the world?

Big Business Buys Silence of Toll Road Critical Newspapers

Foreign corporation in desperate lunge to quell massive popular dissent against Trans Texas Corridor & North American Union

Paul Joseph Watson & Alex Jones

Monday, January 29, 2007

A foreign toll road corporation has agreed to buy dozens of newspapers in Texas and Oklahoma that have up until now been harsh critics of the Trans Texas Corridor superhighway, a clear example of racketeering and a desperate lunge to silence dissent against the sellout of American infrastructure and the North American Union.

"Australian toll road giant Macquarie agreed Wednesday to purchase forty local newspapers, primarily in Texas and Oklahoma, for $80 million. Macquarie Bank is Australia's largest capital raising firm and has invested billions in purchasing roads in the US, Canada and UK. Most recently the company joined with Cintra Concesiones of Spain in a controversial 75-year lease of the 157-mile Indiana Toll Road," reports The Newspaper.com.

The Bush administration has embarked on a policy of selling off key U.S. infrastructure to the highest bidder - in most cases foreign owned corporations. The Indiana Toll Road, Virginia's Pocahontas Parkway, a Texas toll road from Austin to Sequin and The Chicago Skyway have all been siphoned off to foreign companies who will all enjoy billions in profits from American citizens forced to pay the tolls, while others will be thrown off their land and have their property revoked without just compensation following the trend of recent

eminent domain rulings.

The framework on which the American Union is being pegged is the NAFTA Super Highway (pictured) , a four football-fields-wide leviathan that stretches from southern Mexico through the US up to Montreal Canada. Its construction has already begun in Texas with no congressional oversight whatsoever. The Trans-Texas Corridor is being overseen by

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and the contract is owned by the Cintra corporation which in turn is owned by the King of Spain Juan Carlos. The project is being financed by the implementation of a toll that will be collected by means of GPS tracking devices installed in all vehicles and also envelops many connecting roads to the highway.

200606nasco_home_page_09.jpg

US citizens will be forced to

adopt a de-facto national identification card and have their freedom of mobility defined by behavioral fealty to the government under proposals set to derive from NAFTA superhighway toll road systems and the implementation of the North American Union.

Sal Costello, founder of

TexasTollParty.com, an organization committed to fighting the implementation of the international toll roads, joined Alex Jones on his nationally syndicated KLBJ show Sunday to discuss Macquarie's buyout of toll road critical newspapers.

"This issue is about a foreign corporation coming in and it's about editorial independence, it's buying these newspapers, dozens of them, and they've had hundreds of stories over the past couple of years slamming the Trans Texas Corridor," said Costello.

"They've been very vocal in educating their communities all over Texas - so you have these newspapers saying there's something wrong here it stinks," said Costello, characterizing the newspaper buyout as an act of desperation on behalf of Macquarie.

"

These newspapers have been very vocal and this one corporation comes in and buys them up, buys the whole news group, which is dozens of them, and basically this kills editorial independence."

Host Alex Jones wondered aloud that if foreign corporations out of Spain and Australia can just wade in and buy up large swathes of newspapers then what would stop a notoriously censorship happy nation like Communist China doing the same? He cited former World Bank economist and Nobel Prize winner Joseph Stiglitz, who stated that the process of foreign corporations buying up U.S. infrastructure and media was part of the globalization endgame, where the America literally goes into receivership to other countries.

"Set aside the fact that they're foreign, that makes it worse, but let's say that they weren't foreign, let's say that the newspapers were trashing for example Kodak for some horrible thing they're doing and Kodak comes in and buys up all the papers, it's still wrong," said Costello, characterizing the process as criminal racketeering.

"It shows how dirty these special interests are but the folks that really pay for this in the long run is us because what they're really doing is they're after our land, they're after our roads and they're after our water."

Costello said that the only reason major newspapers are starting to report on the toll roads and highlighting the extortion tactics being employed to purchase them was because of the noise being made by the smaller media outlets, a chorus of dissent that will now be silenced once Macquarie's purchase is completed.

Jones said that the behavior of the foreign corporations involved was "off the charts" in buying the newspapers when one considers the vast public opposition to international and existing toll roads, which in some polls runs as high as 97 per cent.

He elaborated in saying that the international toll roads were the funding mechanism for the globalization, the North American Union and the destruction of U.S. sovereignty and issued a rallying call for the entire program to be defeated.

"Huge numbers of Texans will have to be moved off their homes, off their farms, off their ranches so that this foreign corporation can come in and profit," remarked Costello.

Montana Latest State to Introduce Anti-NAU Legislation

Montana Latest State to Introduce Anti-NAU Legislation

Mary Benoit

JBS.org

Thursday, March 1, 2007

ARTICLE SYNOPSIS:

Several sates have introduced resolutions opposing U.S. participation in the North American Union. Montana is the newest legislature to join in on this growing trend.

Follow this link to the source article: "HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 25"

COMMENTARY:

The Montana state legislature has introduced a resolution (HCR 25) that opposes the United States entering into the North American Union (NAU). As reported in previous newsfeeds, the NAU would merge the political, economic and security systems of the United States Canada and Mexico. At the same time that President Bush, Congress, and the media are denying that any such agenda is currently underway, several state legislatures are introducing resolutions that say otherwise.

Montana is the most recent state to introduce an anti-NAU resolution.

In part, HCR 25 states:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE AND THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:

That the Montana Legislature urge the President and the Congress of the United States to withdraw the United States from any further participation in the Security and Prosperity Partnership, any efforts to implement a trinational political, governmental entity among the United States, Canada, and Mexico, or any other efforts used to accomplish any form of a North American Union.

Below is the full list of states who have introduced similar legislation, along with the phone number to the state's legislative office. Concerned readers are encouraged to contact the legislative offices of the states listed below and ask the state Congress to support the North American Union resolution.

Furthermore, contact your own state legislature to encourage your state representatives to introduce and support a similar resolution. Model resolutions and cover letters can be found on the John Birch Society's issue page for the North American Union.

How many of you Americans seeing this video knew about the Amero?

Impressions.

Here's some quotes from earlier in this thread, when I tried to inform people deaf and blind to this....

It will NEVER happen, Its hard enough getting countries to stay united, let alone the whole world, then you have the different religions, and when people of the same effign religion cant even get along....it not going to happen.

Not gonna happen. like i said we cant even get people of the same religion to be peaceful, let alone different races. one world goverment would NEVER work. their is too much difference between everyone and people fight too much for stupid reasons.

It would be next to impossible for such a thing to occur.

NO way this would ever work. if america tried there would be a war. canada and america wouldnt stand for it.

americans elected this goverment. so you are attacking americans.

not the whole country but you're attacking many american. except for a small few like far lefties and conspiracy theorist.

^ Look at the response I got when I first posted this ^ :veryangry: I know the secrets your government are keeping from you! And I'm British!

The North American Union (NAU) is being signed over in secret for a reason!! It's almost a done deal in fact.....unless you educate people.

Really must start taking things seriously - if not - goodbye US sovereignty!

Never knew about this from before. It's very sickening, to be honest. :/

And thanks Gareth, for this and for everything you have been posting on Coldplaying.

Learning about these sad truths is something I intend to keep on doing. And it is, I think, more important for me to know about as I am someone who lives in the region that is most affected by it all.

I hadn't heard of this either, at all. I just read through the whole thread. It's scary. And yeah, thanks Gareth for opening my eyes up to this. It makes me want to look more into it.

Great!

This is important stuff. The government have many people spread throughout the media who say that all this doesn't exist, that we are all conspiract theorists and need to be put away. Seriously. It's very disturbing.

The actions of the 'Anglo-American' empire have a huge impact on many people around the globe and the way America is being sold out by persons of large wealth (private bankers) is surely going to have conseqences, affecting the world in many ways.

Markets, trading, size of Arms/Forces and possible mass civil unrest in the US which would mean Americans would like be moved into martial law.

The leaders have been meeting in secret to discuss the NAU. Just last month they had one in Canada.

Here's something that does a decent job of describing it.....actually quite disturbing...it's pretty vital stuff....you need to know it. (both Americans and others)

Just look at some one the quotes in the vid..from people in great power.....it's messed up. It's stuff I've known about for ages but it's hard to get people to give a shit.

i dont worry about this stuff because if something like this were to happen i wouldnt be around much longer....i would be involved in some sort of revolution anti all of these things and i would prolly be killed or something....basically i will have my freedom, or my death, nothing short.

Raping American Sovereignty and a North American Union

Dana Gabriel

Stop Lying.ca

Monday November 12, 2007

It is becoming harder to chronicle the treasonous, dirty, despicable acts perpetrated by our government. Our sovereignty should not be given away, nor should it be for sale to the highest bidder as it is something to protect and it further defines us as a nation. The enemies of sovereignty are many and some include the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP), the World Trade Organization (WTO), the North American Free Trade Agreement, (NAFTA), and the Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA). Our government is in collusion with powerful private corporate interests, and they are working together to create a North American Union. Every nation has the right and duty to protect its citizens, and it ceases to exist as a sovereign independent country if it fails to defend and control its own national borders. Multinational corporations view borders as barriers to increased profits and envision a world without them. Much of America's key infrastructure has been sold or is being leased to foreign corporations. We are surrendering our sovereignty, and the corporate takeover of America is almost complete. Some will have us believe that doing away with our sovereignty will bring big rewards and will benefit all. Tell that to the middle class and working poor. The result of globalization has meant that we have exchanged self-sufficiency, independence, and sovereignty for dependency.

The WTO serves as a middleman, forcing nations to change its laws and brings unwanted meddling in domestic affairs. It severely undermines national sovereignty and allows for the domination of trade policies by multinational corporations. The WTO has given free reign and granted entrenched rights to the world's largest banks and corporations. It has the power to impose sanctions and lacks any real democratic accountability with hearings and disputes conducted by secret tribunals. It also has the power to overturn sovereign nation's laws in areas of tax, labor, environment, and consumer safety. The U.S. was forced to change tax laws relating to Foreign Sales Corporations, and the WTO rules that each year the U.S. must issue at least 65,000 H-1B work visas or be fined for not allowing enough foreign labor to enter the country. With more frequency, multinational corporations are turning to the WTO in an effort to change U.S. laws including zoning laws which could be changed by international courts. Former Republican House speaker Newt Gingrich said of the WTO, “We need to be honest about the fact that we are transferring from the United States, at a practical level significant authority to a new organization.” Our own laws should never be changed or overridden by a body of unelected bureaucrats. The WTO has lead to the loss of more sovereignty and democracy which has limited our decision making.

NAFTA has lead to the loss of millions of American jobs, it has created trade deficits with both Canada and Mexico and has accelerated the destruction of the middle class. NAFTA severely undermines our sovereignty and control. Under Chapter 11, new rights and privileges were granted to foreign investors operating in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. It has lead to state, provincial and municipal governments being challenged by corporations using their new rights to undermine environmental and judicial decisions. Foreign corporate investors can sue NAFTA countries for cash compensation in secret tribunals if they feel their rights have been violated. Foreign investors have been granted more rights than U.S. corporations and American citizens. CAFTA is equally as devastating, and is essentially an outsourcing agreement that will lead to the loss of more jobs and it will gut all buy American laws which give preference to local companies. Under CAFTA, multinational corporations will have the power to challenge environmental and public interests laws. It could also undermine immigration laws, giving international tribunals the power to rule over Congress. CAFTA seeks to wipe out American laws, and along with NAFTA is being used to breakdown national independence and sovereignty. It was former secretary of state Henry Kissinger who called NAFTA a step towards a New World Order. Many who view NAFTA as a success want to use it as the model for the proposed Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA), which would encompass the whole hemisphere.

The North American Union is being created incrementally, using evolution by stealth, and is being done at the expense of our sovereignty. It is being created by unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats, and SPP working groups who are writing policy initiatives. One of the leading experts on the NAU Jerome Corsi said, “The SPP is creating new trilateral memoranda of understanding and mutual agreements which should be submitted to the Senate for two-thirds votes as international treaties.” He went on to say, “They are sharing their laws and regulations so we can harmonize and integrate our laws into a North American structure, not a USA structure.” Bureaucrats are able to move about almost completely undetected and with little or no scrutiny. There is a real lack of transparency which makes this whole process undemocratic. The SPP was never debated or passed by the Senate, and the American people deserve to be consulted when they are losing their sovereignty and their Constitution is being trampled upon. Those who claim that the SPP is simply about open dialogue and cooperation are being anything but honest. We're talking about political and economic integration including a single North American currency, which would mean the end of our financial sovereignty, the merging of our laws, environmental, health and safety standards, a new court and tax system, and a new NAU constitution. Under the SPP, the U.S. and Canadian military are further merging their command structures. Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul said, “Any movement toward a North American Union diminishes the ability of average Americans to influence the laws under which they must live.” Inside a NAU there is no room for American sovereignty, and how can harmonizing regulations with Mexico and Canada not undermine our independence? Bureaucrats and corporate interests are shaping our future with seemingly no oversight, and as we shed more sovereignty, we will lose the ability to govern ourselves.

More and more of America's critical infrastructure, including highways, are being sold, leased, or manged by private foreign companies which constitutes a surrendering of our sovereignty. The Spanish company Cintra is financing and building the Trans-Texas-Corridor (TTC) and will lease and operate it as a toll road. Cintra-Macquaire consortium already has leases for the Indiana and Chicago Skyway toll roads. The TTC is to be the first leg of a NAFTA Superhighway and will be a borderless open transportation system that is the necessary infrastructure needed for a North American Union. Many of the trucks and freight trains filled with Chinese containers unloaded in Mexican ports will have Kansas City as a destination. To handle the increased flow of Chinese cheap goods, Kansas City will have an inland port, and part of the facility will include a Mexican customs office. It is to be staffed by Mexican government custom officials as Mexico wants the right to inspect their own trucks. More disturbing is that it is to be considered sovereign Mexican territory. Imagine a little piece of Mexico in the heartland of the United States. The Financial Services SPP working group has also outlined plans to improve Mexico's infrastructure using Canadian and American tax dollars. This will further facilitate the flow of cheap goods from China and benefit multinational corporations. All across America, already paid for roads and freeways are being converted into toll roads. Charging tolls for roads that have already been paid for is criminal, and furthermore the selling and leasing of key infrastructure to foreign interests threatens our sovereignty and security.

We are witnessing the destruction of a sovereign independent America as well as the transfer of power from our elected government to unelected, accountable bureaucrats. In many cases we are already powerless and bound by international treaties, which in some cases take precedence over our own laws. Any move towards a North American Union represents a betrayal of the American people, the Constitution, self-government, freedom, independence, sovereignty, our culture, and our values. Ron Paul said of the North American Union, “The real issue is national sovereignty. Once again, decisions that affect millions of Americans are not being made by those Americans themselves, or even by their elected representatives in Congress. Instead, a handful of elites use their government connections to bypass national legislatures and ignore our Constitution.” The attack on our democracy continues, and the raping of American sovereignty has left it a shadow of its former self. We are losing our ability to control our own destiny.

The main problems I see here are: who finances the elected officials, and what do they get in return?; and who owns the media and what messages do they want the public to see or not see?

Campaign finance reform is tops on my list - get the big corporate money out of the campaigns!

Secondly, break up the media monopolies! Limited ownership has been slanting the message and subverting the truth from sources that had been unbiased in the past. But we can't get one without the other, so first comes government reform before better anti-trust rules can be enforced.

Thirdly, I think we need more term limits. Members of congress get onto key committees, and once seated for a term or two, become entrenched and sequester enormous power.

True, bad things happen otherwise - NAFTA, GATT, WTO, and possibly this American Union idea get passed without citizen oversight of our government.

Dear Deluded Mass Media, North American Union Agenda Exists

Despite official maps, documents, plans and bills in Congress the reality of the NAU and trans border superhighway is still denied as Ron Paul is attacked for speaking out about it.

Steve Watson

Infowars.net

Monday, Dec 3, 2007

031207NAU2.jpg

The media campaign to deny the reality of the move towards a North American Union in the mold of the European Union, which would encompass a merging of the economies of The US, Canada and Mexico, continues with a sharp focus on attacking presidential candidate Ron Paul who has spoken about the move on numerous occasions.

The North American Union issue came to the fore last week when Congressman Ron Paul was sardonically asked during the CNN GOP debate if he believed in it as his many supporters have suggested.

Dr Paul put the record straight by explaining that it is ludicrous to call the very real NAU movement a conspiracy theory.

“The CFR exists, the Trilateral Commission exists,” Paul explained. “And it is a ‘conspiracy of ideas,’ this is an ideological battle. Some people believe in globalism, others believe in national sovereignty. And there is a move on toward a North American Union, just like early on there was a move for a European Union that eventually ended up. So we have NAFTA and a move toward a NAFTA highway, these are real things.”

Despite Ron Paul's explanation that these things are real, and despite overwhelming and manifestly provable evidence that they are real, the hacks at CNN spent much of their post debate coverage attacking the Congressman on the issue as if he were insane.

The post debate coverage in the video below features these attacks followed by a look at the various legislation, maps and websites that document the reality of a move toward a North American Union and a trans national corridor:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzjSX2kO07Y&e

Ron Paul again had to explain on CNN yesterday that plans for the NAU and an accompanying highway exist in reality despite continued mind numbing denial:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wh178-bYxnA&e

The framework on which the American Union is being pegged is a cross border North American Free Trade Agreement super highway that stretches from southern Mexico through the US up to Montreal Canada.

270906highway.jpg

The organisation overseeing the implementation of the highway is NASCO, the North America SuperCorridor Coalition Inc., which describes itself as a “non-profit organization dedicated to developing the world’s first international, integrated and secure, multi-modal transportation system along the International Mid-Continent Trade and Transportation Corridor to improve both the trade competitiveness and quality of life in North America.”

NASCO has received $250 million in earmarks from the U.S. Department of Transportation to plan the NAFTA Super Highway as a 10-lane limited-access road (five lanes in each direction) plus passenger and freight rail lines running alongside pipelines laid for oil and natural gas. One glance at the map of the NAFTA Super Highway as produced by NASCO makes clear that the design is to connect Mexico, Canada, and the U.S. into one transportation system.

Toll roads are to be placed upon existing roads in Security Prosperity Partnership agreements that bypasses Congress, agreements between the bureaucracies of the US and Mexican governments, to raise capital to build the Super highway that will go South of Texas and into Mexico.

Security Prosperity Partnership documents reveal that out of 85 interstate highways, 83 of them are slated to go under this agreement and toll roads are going down on them already. The money from this operation with further fund the dismantling of US sovereignty by seizing the infrastructure at it's very heart in a bloodless coup.

The highway is to be linked to the Trans-Texas Corridor the first leg of the highway which will connect Mexico with the US. This is being overseen by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) which is a member of NASCO.

The NAFTA corridor movement also involves CANAMEX, another trade organization that promotes a Western tri-lateral route utilizing I-19, I-10, I-93 and I-15 in the states of Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Idaho and Montana to link the three countries in trade. See below (click to enlarge).

Another non-profit group, the North American Forum on Integration (NAFI), identifies four bands of NAFTA corridors (Pacific, West, East and Atlantic), all relying primarily upon internationalizing north-south existing interstate highways into NAFTA trade corridors. See below.

031207NAFI.jpg031207canamex.jpg

click for larger image

The NAFI website states the following:

"Following the implementation of NAFTA, coalitions of interest have been formed in order to promote specific transport channels, to develop the infrastructures of these channels and to propose jurisdictional amendments to facilitate the crossing of borders. These coalitions include businesses, government agencies, civil organizations, metropolitan areas, rural communities and also individuals, wishing to strengthen the commercial hubs of their regions."

"The North American trade corridors are bi- or tri-national channels for which various cross-border interests have grouped together in order to develop or consolidate the infrastructures. The North American corridors are considered multimodal in the sense that they bring into play different modes of transport in succession."

"The infrastructures may include roads, highways, transit routes, airports, pipelines, railways and train stations, river canal systems and port facilities, telecommunications networks and teleports."

The architects of this unification are not just in name merging the agencies and the laws and the regulations, they are physically getting rid of the borders by buying off and lobbying the politicians at the state level, who then hand the roads over to international bodies and their subsidiary companies.

At the end of January we reported on the revelation that one of the foreign toll road conglomerates, Macquarie, has agreed to buy dozens of newspapers in Texas and Oklahoma that have up until now been harsh critics of the Trans Texas Corridor superhighway. This indicates a clear example of influence peddling pointing to racketeering, and a desperate lunge to silence dissent against the sellout of American infrastructure and the North American Union.

The mainstream media will keep telling you none of this is real, that its on a par with invading space aliens and that if you believe in any of it you are totally crazy.

The further incontrovertible evidence for a NAU agenda is overflowing, you could write entire books on the issue.

The initial Security and Prosperity Partnership agreement was signed by President Bush, Mexican President Vicente Fox and then-Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin in Waco, Texas, March 23, 2005. It established working groups, under the North American Free Trade Agreement office.

031207NAU.jpg

Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) documents released under the FOIA show that a wide range of US administrative law is being re-written in stealth under this program to "integrate" and "harmonize" with administrative law in Mexico and Canada, just as has become commonplace within the EU.

The documents contain references to upwards of 13 working groups within an entire organized infrastructure that has drawn from officials within most areas of administrative government including U.S. departments of State, Homeland Security, Commerce, Treasury, Agriculture, Transportation, Energy, Health and Human Services, and the office of the U.S. Trade Representative.

Further documents (PDF link) from last year's SPP meeting in Banff which were obtained by Judicial Watch under the FOIA, refer to an "evolution by stealth" agenda for the SPP, explaining that the Congress and the American people would not willingly go along with such a move.

This stealth agenda has also been carefully pointed out in a Hudson Institute White Paper entitled Negotiating North America: The Security and Prosperity Partnership (PDF)

"The most important feature of the SPP design is that it is neither intended to produce a treaty nor an executive agreement like the NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) that would require congressional ratification or the passage of implementing legislation in the United States. The SPP was designed to function within existing administrative authority of the executive branch."

The paper also states "mobility across the border is central to the idea of an integrated North American economic space."

The Hudson White Paper also reminds us that the 2005 Council on Foreign Relations document called "Building a North American Community" bragged that its recommendations are "explicitly linked" to SPP. The Council on Foreign Relations document called for establishing a "common perimeter" around North America by 2010, the development of a biometric North American border pass, and the adoption of a North American tariff."

Further CFR documents have revealed that the group wants to "establish private bodies that would meet regularly or annually to buttress North American relationships, along the lines of the Bilderberg conferences." (Bilderberg are the power brokers behind the formation of the EU and the single European currency)

During the recent secretive SPP meeting an advisory Council created last year known as the North American Competitiveness Council met on issues including border regulation and competitiveness in the automotive, transportation, manufacturing and services sectors. The council is expected to meet annually with security and prosperity ministers and will engage with senior government officials on an ongoing basis.

The most recent SPP meeting in Canada also saw the US army enforce a huge 25km security perimeter as well as cracking down on protests, barring media and shutting down public forums in the vicinity of the event.

Eighteen states have introduced resolutions calling on their federal representatives to halt work on the North American Union (they include Virginia and South Carolina). Three of these states (Idaho, Montana and Oklahoma) have passed their resolutions.

Oklahoma, which is in the path of the superhighway component of the North American Union passed their resolution in the Senate 97-0. (see Basic Search Form link - top left - type in SCR10)

This came after it was revealed that the Mayor of Oklahoma City, with the approval of 90 other officials, signed a document endorsing an economic and political integration of the U.S. with Canada and Mexico.

22 U.S. Congressmen, including NC's Virginia Foxx and Walter Jones, along with all three Republican Congressmen running for President, have signed on as co-sponsors of HCR40, which calls on the executive branch to end all work on the North American Union and the proposed superhighway.

Even the Sierra Club of Canada is sounding the alarm against the North American Union.

The standardization and centralization of policy into a North American Union framework is very real, a fact we personally came face to face with this week after our office received a letter from the Texas Workforce Commission demanding that we provide business information for the purposes of assigning a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code to our location.

The NAICS website reveals that "The North American Industry Classification System has replaced the U.S. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) system. NAICS will reshape the way we view our changing economy."

"NAICS was developed jointly by the U.S., Canada, and Mexico to provide new comparability in statistics about business activity across North America."

The fact that we received this letter and that businesses across America are being forced to submit census information for the purposes of registration in a North American database that includes Mexico and Canada is no "conspiracy theory," its another documented step on the road to full harmonization and integration.

The planned introduction of the Amero, a pan-American currency lambasted in the Globe piece as another conspiracy theory, is common knowledge amongst all financial analysts worth their salt. Steve Previs of Jefferies International talked about it on a CNBC segment in November last year.

Just last week, renowned money manager Stephen Jarislowsky told a parliamentary committee in Canada that "we have to really seriously start thinking of the model of a continental currency just like Europe," as he advocated the creation of a North American currency to replace the Canadian dollar, the U.S. dollar and the peso.

Robert Pastor, one of the architects of the plan for a regional government, has authored a book and speaks at confabs in front of governmental officials, promoting the adoption of the amero as a common monetary currency to replace the dollar and the peso.

Former Mexican President Vicente Fox himself admitted the plan for a North American "euro-dollar" currency during an appearance on Larry King Live recently.

The latest media attacks come on the back of a recent Boston Globe piece entitled The amero conspiracy, the latest in a long line of public relations stunts on behalf of the establishment to attempt to hoodwink Americans into thinking that the NAU is crackpot conspiracy fodder on a par with bigfoot, when in reality a plan for merging the Americas is on the record and its protagonists have long bragged about their goal to destroy U.S. sovereignty in pursuit of world government.

The ultimate goal, to bring together the Pan American Union, the Asian Union and the European Union into a structure of world government, is also often scoffed at by the media as another conspiracy theory, but the agenda to end U.S. sovereignty in the interests of centralizing global power is a concept that has been pushed by elitists for decades and their intentions to do so are on the record.

Here are just a handful of quotes from top power brokers attesting to that fact, as well as warnings from those who oppose it.

"In the next century, nations as we know it will be obsolete; all states will recognize a single, global authority. National sovereignty wasn't such a great idea after all."

- Strobe Talbot, President Clinton's Deputy Secretary of State, as quoted in Time, July 20th, 1992.

"If instant world government, Charter review, and a greatly strengthened International Court do not provide the answers, what hope for progress is there? The answer will not satisfy those who seek simple solutions to complex problems, but it comes down essentially to this: The hope for the foreseeable lies, not in building up a few ambitious central institutions of universal membership and general jurisdiction as was envisaged at the end of the last war, but rather in the much more decentralized, disorderly and pragmatic process of inventing or adapting institutions of limited jurisdiction and selected membership to deal with specific problems on a case-by-case basis ... In short, the 'house of world order' will have to be built from the bottom up rather than f rom the top down. It will look like a great 'booming, buzzing confusion,' to use William James' famous description of reality, but an end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece, will accomplish much more than the old-fashioned frontal assault."

- Richard N. Gardner, in Foreign Affairs (April 1974)

"Ultimately, our objective is to welcome the Soviet Union back into the world order. Perhaps the world order of the future will truly be a family of nations."

- President George Bush Texas A&M University 1989

"There does exist and has existed for a generation, an international . . . network which operates, to some extent, in the way the radical right believes the Communists act. In fact, this network, which we may identify as the Round Table Groups, has no aversion to cooperating with the Communists, or any other groups and frequently does so. I know of the operations of this network because I have studied it for twenty years and was permitted for two years, in the early 1960s, to examine its papers and secret records. I have no aversion to it or to most of its aims and have, for much of my life, been close to it and to many of its instruments. I have objected, both in the past and recently, to a few of its policies . . . but in general my chief difference of opinion is that it wishes to remain unknown, and I believe its role in history is significant enough to be known."

- Professor Carroll Quigley, in his book Tragedy and Hope, 1966.

"We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order."

- David Rockefeller

"Today, America would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order. Tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told that there were an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being granted to them by the World Government."

- Dr. Henry Kissinger, Bilderberger Conference, Evians, France, 1991

"The Trilateral Commission is intended to be the vehicle for multinational consolidation of the commercial and banking interests by seizing control of the political government of the United States. The Trilateral Commission represents a skillful, coordinated effort to seize control and consolidate the four centers of power political, monetary, intellectual and ecclesiastical. What the Trilateral Commission intends is to create a worldwide economic power superior to the political governments of the nationstates involved. As managers and creators of the system, they will rule the future."

- U.S. Senator Barry Goldwater in his 1979 book: With No Apologies.

Every time the agenda for full political and economic integration is advanced one step further, whether by treaties, lawfully binding agreements or rhetoric about what the next step will be, the establishment media steps in to scoff at such patently observable developments and label them "conspiracy theories".

We have previously seen articles in other major publications that exactly mirror each other in denying the existence of the NAU. The establishment media has promoted this consistent hoax and repeatedly engaged in mass public deception.

This tactic of smearing anyone who attempts to raise the issue and to categorically deny reality comes directly from those who are pushing the NAU

The following is another presentation that pits the reality of the NAU agenda against the continued denial of its existence:

Many of the afore mentioned media hit pieces surmise that the entire subject of the North American Union is an urban myth that "feeds on American fear of immigration and globalization", just as Bush outlines above.

Other media hit pieces against the North American Union "conspiracy" seem to hinge on the notion that the globalists pushing for it don't call it a "union" but a "community". This is akin to when David Rockefeller dismissed the notion that he was aiding the creation of a global government, instead asserting only that he believed in "global governance". The media are basically ninnying about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.

Whatever you want to call it - a plan for political, economic and social integration of the Americas is afoot and it is being rammed through with little or no say from Congress or the American people.

However, as the old saying goes, any kind of PR is good PR. The rapid move toward a North American Union is finally getting mainstream attention, as witnessed by the increased effort on behalf of the corporate media to deny its reality and implement the usual technique of branding it a myth or baseless conspiracy theory. As the attacks become more pronounced, the clearer it will become that the move toward a NAU is a very real prospect.

The scary part is that it will be accomplished while we were all sleeping. Almost no one I talk to is aware of this, and I can see a day when we all realize it happened and wonder where it came from.

Hopefully, we here in Canada won't give up our sovereignty that easily. we took long enough to achieve it, we're not in a hurry to lose it.

Even I gave up on the 'One World Order' theory for a while, but not for long.

But what will it be called? Canusamex? Northameristan? UpperAmerica? :laugh3: And thank goodness we'll all be asleep when it happens - all that rumbling of border fences and security guards can make quite a racket! Frankly, why stop there. Heck, build that bridge from Alaska's peninsula to Mother Russia, and then we can all be one big happy family! (secretly, I've always dreamed of driving from here to London - it just seems so neat an idea, even if an insane one..):)

One Nation, under one big maple leaf, with free beer and pizza for all..:P

LOL! I really like Northameristan!!!

Something tells me that Canada's not going to be the seat of power in a global order.

But what a brilliant post. Thanks for that, Chuck!:laugh3::laugh3:

Now's your chance! Seize the global order before is solidifies like chilled chocolate pudding! Canada is on top, so naturally, it just makes sense to have Canada (oops! Pardon - the Canadian region of NorthAmeristan) as the central place of governance. Plus, we'll all be living where you're at, as much of lower N.Ameristan becomes a desert. Capitol: Toronto. Flag: polka-dotted boxers. New National Anthem: "Land above the Canal" sung to the Marine Hymn by the Royal Mounted Canadian Ameristanians. :)
