i've decided and definitely realised, lately more than ever, that what people desire and need and always look for in life, all the time is love.

 

love that you can share with the person you love, the person that means so much to you. when you have that, you have a route to long term happiness of the best kind.

 

until something comes and blows it all away so you get hurt and then you look for more love. and then we do it all again.

 

so yes, we look for love, that person who can give us happiness, even if they aren't able to because of their situation we still keep trying.

that's true, but even when you've found this person, you can't expect an easy route... yes, we can believe that 2 persons who really love one to each other are able to overcome any problem but this is not always true...

Falling in love (and I presume this is what you're talking about) is only a phase and it's proved that only lasts 3 years if I recall correctly. Then, you keep loving this person, but in a different way...

There are many types of love though aren't there? Love in a family, love between friends, and of course the love that exists between 2 lovers.

I'm just missing one at present. I think.

yep many types: you've got the passionate love, the friendly love, family love...

 

Passionate love: All what the 2 lovers are feeling is centered on them and only them, so cosed realtionship.but drawback->monotony, one of the 2 can want to see someone else

 

Friendly love: The 2 are like friends (as the name says...).opened relationship.sharing experience with their environnment.Drawback->canbe taken as not serious as a passionate love...

 

Family love: don't need to explain i guess...

i meant u love someone.but your relationship is on its end...then u find someone else...then u wonder if the other one wasn't your true love...but too late...

 

EDIT: otherwise when u meet someone, u see her/him, u know it can works between u n her/him, and u don't catch the chance when u'r near her/him...

yes that is exactly it.

 

as a person you spend your life looking for love, someone to share your life with and this makes you happy.

 

yes there are problems along the way and maybe some people do get fed up with that person but you still look for more love.

we r always looking for love, thats for sure. if we r not looking to love someone, at least to find someone who loves so u can feel loved, which is also an amazing feeling.

 

I REALLY do think that when u find THE love, that person u love so much and loves u so much in return, it somehow makes your life more complete, more meagninful, and so much happier...

if anyone has watched the 5th Element they will know what I am talking about... if you love someone... you should be both be like babies who give unconditional love to their parents without knowing it...

 

Hope in Life and love are the things that keep me going ... its such a precious gift...

my point really wasn't that everyone is looking for love. even this isn't that realised because people say that they want to do this and other things and aren't bothered what happens to them, when they do want some love inside.

 

anyway my point was that when you have love you have that happiness that you can't have without love. i'm sure that a lot of people look for other ways to achieve this love, maybe money is a way for some people, but in the end they find it doesn't make them happy and they start looking for love.

i think there are two reasons people look for love there whole lives:

 

1) One is of course what society made as believe through movies and books, and how ppl in love are happy and the ones that have friends but not love are sad. I think this is the one reason why ppl think love will make them happy.

 

2) Being a biology major in high school our natural instict is to look for a mate all the time so that we could have little babies. So evolution gave us love to have a reason to look for a mate. When you're in love there really are hormones that are released that make u happy. Just like the ones that are released when u take drugs like LSD.

those hormones are called endorphins :)

 

but yeah we are designed to breed and love is a way to want to breed with someone. but i don't know, animals don't need love to breed, maybe we are different but i tend to think we need love because it keeps us motivated for life.

i think the feeling of love that u get, that rush, only lasts for a few years, and it's on purpose so that it's enough time to have a baby care for it at the beginning and then go seperate ways. So u need love for that peroud of time...

 

after that it's a different hormone, that makes u attached to the person u love. But that's also a different kind of feeling, like a different kind of love...so not every couple gets there.......

definitely, the longer you are with someone the harder it is not to be with them because you do get attached

one day i would like to experience passionate love one day and in a way i believe that to be one of the important things in life that makes happiness. besides knowing oneself.
