Yeah we did really well- i must admit i was surprised we used to be a team that ran down every ball but with absolutely no organisation or plan whatsoever, Guus did a great job and so did the players.

 

What gets me though is that we could've beaten Italy and we had great chance against Ukraine and the Swiss.

Italy were great at defending and we should have taken our chances but overall

but that is what bugs me. the fact that WE COULD have beaten italy. it was so damn close.

 

if we got thrashed, i would have been like "ohhh well, you know italy are a world class team" but the fact that it came down to a stupid fucking penalty in the last 10 seconds. LITERALLY last 10 seconds... :disappointed: that was just so damn horrible. i feel so bad for lucas neill. luccass my baby :disappointed: hahaha. poor guy but.
