Ronaldinho: The Australians have a real hunger to win.

Ronaldo: (looks overweight and is kicking a football) i'm just hungry (said while eating a burger)

  • Author

It is just before Australia Vs Brazil at the World Cup group game.

Ronaldinho goes into the Brazillian changing room to find all his teammates looking a bit glum.

"what's up?" he asks.

"well, we're having trouble getting motivated for this game. We know it's important but it's only

Australia. They're rubbish and we can't be bothered."

Ronaldinho looks at them and says: "well, i reckon i can beat them by myself, you lads go down the pub."

So Ronaldinho goes out to play Australia by himself and the rest of the Brazillians go off for a few beers.

After a few they wonder how the game is going, so they get the landlord to put the TV on. A big cheer

goes up as the screen reads: Brazil 1 Australia 0 (Ronaldinho 10 min).

A few more beers later and the game is forgotten until someone remembers: "it must be full time, let's see how he got on."

They put the TV on again:

Result. Brazl 1 (Ronaldinho 10 min Australia 1 (Viduka 89 min).

The Brazilians can't believe it, he has single-handedly got a draw against Australia!

They rush back to the stadium to congratulate Ronaldinho.

They find him in the dressing room, still in his gear, with his head in his hands.

He refuses to look at them. "i've let you down, i've let you down."

"don't be daft, you got a draw against Australia, all by yourself.

And they only scored at the very, very end!"

"no, no, i have let you down. I got sent off after 12 minutes."

Aussies miss cut for gay team

A Gay magazine in Holland has polled its readers and come up with the "prettiest, most handome and sexiest" players of the World Cup.

And not one Socceroo was named in the side. Which they may see as a blessed relief.

The Gay Krant gathered votes from 3000 readers in what it called the Hunks poll.

Heading the list was Portugal's pretty boy Cristiano Ronaldo who, for the record, is single and without a girlfriend.

Ronaldo was followed by Sweden's Markus Rosenburg and Dutchman John Heitinga.

The remaining eight, in order of loveliness, were, Michael Owen (England), Robin Van Pearsie (Holland), David Beckham (England), Fredrik Ljungberg (Sweden), Kaka (Brazil), Fernando Torres (Spain), Jan Kromkamp (Holland) and Iker Casillas (Spain).

The reserves were Nelson Haedo Valdez (Paraguay), Francesco Totti (Italy), Ruud Van Nistelrooy (Holland) and Oswaldo Sanchez (Mexico).

i think harry kewell or lucas neill should be on the list...hehehhe

man...brazil doesnt even deserve to win...

i think australia's the best in the field today...they at least deserve to win...

brazil doesnt even look like a team that wants to win the world cup..but australia did..

This is just because Brazil is already sure that they will win the cup....

so why is this whole event?

so why is this whole event?

thats just ego..

u know what..after seeing both brazil's game...i dont hink they'll win the world cup...there are more better team that have been plying well, like argentina...they played both of their game well..and earn to go through to next round...

pity all the team that played hard doesnt go through such as ivory cost...

congrats for aussies. for real. luck was the only factor that was missing today for them.

i agree daj. there were so many opportunities, about 6 full on attempts in the 2nd half, that were so damn close. bresciano's side on kick was great, viduka's header, all so close. and brazil didn't even look that motivated. to be honest, the game bore me. the japanese-australia game was so much more exciting, both teams WANTED to win. brazil lack the passion, they just bore me...

brassilians are stuck-up-asses which have to lose more than 200 kilos to get in shape all together, one or two men do everything for them ronaldo walks around the stadium, every now and them someone from his team warns his heading for the wrong goal and that's it.they piss me off so much...if they won, and they will need huge huge luck cus they've already used it too much, this will be most unfair team that wn the cup.

the only good thing that happen with thier won yeaterday is that croatia is still in game to pass to other round...so next match with you....tough tough..

i bet it will be 2-1 for aussies.

i'm with ya...hope australia will go through...they deserve it..they have the passion and desire..no forgetting they have what it takes to win the next match,..but croatia has a tough defend...not expecting a lot og goals...but hope australia will win...

wtf happen to Kewell? he's not playing, he asulted the judge..

hahaha so true daj.

from their performance in the opening rounds, they don't deserve to win the world cup.

teams shouldn't play for the 2nd or 3rd round. they obviously don't want it enough.

so they don't deserve to win.

end of story.

haha.

but the croatia, aussie game will be interesting. :nice: sooo excited. will be on at 5am here. hahaa.

wtf happen to Kewell? he's not playing' date=' he asulted the judge..[/quote']

all the referees are targetting australia after japan and brazil complained to the referees that australia were a "physical team" and that they needed to protect their teams. fucking sissies. :dozey: "oh look at me. we're the world cup champions and we play shit so we need to dob in all our opponents to the referee to get penalties and free kicks" ... :dozey:

kewell went and complained to the referee after the brazil match to say that it was unfair. "Australia were awarded just nine free kicks in Sunday's 2-0 loss to Brazil in Munich while the world champions got 25. The Australians also claim both goals came from offside positions."

just because we're a fairly unknown team, doesn't mean we have to have fucking sissy teams put provisions on us. i'm so bloody angry. jesus.

he's playing after all, merk messed something up in his report, good for you bad for us.

the good thing is that aussies and croatian match will decide who will go in the next round, cus the both teams worked hard and were good so there will be no reason to question fairness- so who ever wins i'm gonna congrate to them and their ppl.right?

off course i will cheer for croatia from the bottom of my heart but ...who ever passes..it's fair (except brasil off course :dozey: )
