Taking Advantage of People

Featured Replies

Well there is this girl at school and she has liked me for ages (like liked), it's no big secret. I definitely do not like her, even as a friend.

But anyway I just realised that has nothing to do with what I am about to say, so just forget all that.

Well she is extremely stupid, it really concerns me sometimes. And the other day on the bus she was bragging about her new "iPod Nano" :shocked3: and then someome said something like "how many songs have you got on there?" (which I hate because people think they're cool if they have heaps of songs.) And she said something like "30, I only got it on the weekend."

Then I started going on about it saying that they were all pop crap and I would know every single one of her songs on there because they are the only thing you see on TV these days.

I did know them all. Then she said "I bet you $5 I know all of the songs on your Mp3 player." I laughed. I told her "there are like 500 songs on there" and she still wants to do it.

Of course she failed and I got my $5. She really is an idiot.

But the point is: is it wrong to take advantage of people?

I sure don't mind.

Well when it comes to gambling of course not :D If they are stupid enough to bet a lot of money it's their own fault not mine

I think there are ways and ways of taking advantage of people

that I woudln't mind (what you describe)

but when people bribe you (is that the spelling?)

hen you tell them something and then they ask you something

or they "might talk"

that I think it's wrong

We all take advantage of people

Who have you taken advantage of tuertita, huh?:stunned: but yeah I agree, I think we all take advantage of certain things on certain situations..but I don't agree in taking advantage of someone by force.

I see no problem with that wager.

If it means money no. hahaha that is such bad advice

Take her money and her clothes, and wear them proudly.

If the person you're taking advantage of isn't aware of it....then it's alright

I'm gonna find a new bet to make with her next week.

Haha, these answers are exactly what I wanted to hear.

Hahaha, I hate to be Mr Sensible here, but I've known some people who are practically retarded but dont quite have the documentation to wear that orange badge proudly (Mc_squared is a great example).

Well I wouldnt get too stuck into it, because eventually it'll start to actually affect her and it will probably get around to her parents, and then your's.

Wait until your 18 and free and independant sonny, then you can screw over the spaccas.

But you're right, as always. Didn't think about the parent thing.

If you can get some money and make stupid people look.....erm, stupid, it's a win-win situation

Well, her parents will be wondering where her money is going, and although she'll be too embarassed to express what a retard she is, shes a retard, so therefore she'll let it slip as only retards know how.

Fucking screwups in every situation, really.

Friggin retard, it's even funnier coz she likes me so she probably willingly does it.

betting money is purely a consentual deal. THe girl just didn't know what a big ol idiot she is and went into that bet not thinking,..but the point is..she went into the deal.

HER LOSS

it's okay since she isn't the cleverest one

i always do that ... lol

betting with stupid people :D

Is it mean that I very ocassionally take advantage of my totally drunk friends by making them pay for the taxi home and not putting my share in? :sneaky:  Theyre often too drunk to notice.

taking ad. of ppl is wrong
