The Importance of Clothes

Featured Replies

Generally when i'm at home or work, I wear shitty old clothes.

At college I wear some nice clothes (jeans). Overall clothes don't matter too much where they came from, tesco/asda all the same to me

haha! Same here Dave! :D When I'm around the house I wear my old ugly ripped off clothes because I'm usually cleaning around :p I always run to the closet and change really fast when someone rings the bell:laugh3: :embarassed:

On daily basis, I usually just wear jeans and a basic shirt with my boots and a jacket (because I always get cold)..just simple and basic. But when I go out to a party, to the club or even out to eat I dress up and wear a bit more nicer clothes. Overall, clothes are so-so important to me. I don't run to the mall to buy clothes every week-end...;)

Btw, I think fashion has nothing to do with over-prized clothes. I think fashion has to do with how you put an outfit together...overall it's really the accessories that makes it fashionable? well I think so..

whhaaaaatever...

that's the biggest bull!

When you put it on...and wear it..it doesn't matter. SOME brands out there, really are better quality..and exact form as brand names.

Only they never had that populatity Ralph Lauren made for himself.

So they are deemed inferior ..when actually, they are just as good, if not better.

no. ralph lauren is as popular and cost so much because of its style and quality. just like with fine wines and vodka's and scotch. you pay more for the better one. hollister is way cheaper then RL yet its quality is bad. for the most part with some exceptions you are paying for better material and quality.

High prices do not imply high quality. You can look good even in cheap clothes or look bad even in expensive clothes(green shirt brown pants!)!

Its all about style and fashion sense. Some people are naturally able to look in anything and others need their mom/fashion stylist to pick out their clothes.

LMFAO you actually used the forum default avatar,in all my time I have never seen that..

In my experiance, the cheap wine tastes better than more expensive wines.

Not always but in many cases it does. like lacoste and RL. and for me im willing to pay alittle more so my cloths are better quality and last longer.

HOLLISTER IS FREAKIN BAD QUALITY...i won't deny that. Beside you get a stip of cloth called a skirt for like 100 bucks.

RL is more expenisive and I deny not the quality..but like I said..brands with a smaller name Put all theit money ..and time... INTO the quality instead of putting all their resources into blinging advertisements like RL...

but these small brands are just as good. get it?

lol i am. rl last longer then hollister, AF, and most other cheaper cloths, and so does lacoste. i can buy one rl polo and wear it for a long time without it fading or being worn out.

im willing to pay alittle more

In all fairness its more then 'a little'. RL polos are often upwards of €60 (about $75 Id say) whereas others from other brands can be €20, €30 even €40 less, but still bear the same quaility...and often look better.

indeed..this is true...like i said...advertisments make certain companies look like they are the ONLY ones with qualities as good as RL..when this is clearly false!
