July 5, 200619 yr As i see....you're burnin' inside for our victory..................but why? Who, me?
July 5, 200619 yr Everyone dives' date=' its part of the game now.[/quote'] Diving started in italy before it went across the world when italien players move abroad. So next season when more italien players move away from italian clubs when their club is sent down to the 2nd division or maybe the 3rd division for match fixing, diving will increase again. Diving should carry a straight red card, that will stamp it out

So next season when more italien players move away from italian clubs when their club is sent down to the 2nd division or maybe the 3rd division for match fixing, diving will increase again. July 5, 200619 yr Teach what? How to cheat to get free-kicks? How to cheat to get players sent off? at the end of the day, the best team (germany) lost, and dave won £20 on a bet that italy would win in extra-time;)
July 5, 200619 yr I don't think Germany played better than us....and I think Italy is the most correct team of the World Cup.We made a few number of faults Anyway you gotta be happy for Italy victory cos you've earned 20 £............ So u believed more than us on our victory:D!!!
July 5, 200619 yr so I missed most of the game.. so is there any way to see it here online? I've only seen the previews.. boo.. But congrats Italy!
July 5, 200619 yr it's just sad and I'm totally disappointed... we played great until the end. ... anyways. I'm working for a local newspaper at the moment and did a survey today - I went into the city center and asked people about their opinions... I was happy to find out that although people are quite said, almost everyone said that we still can bei very proud of what we have achieved. :) no one I spoke to was angry, everyone said klinsmann shouldn't leave. I think that's good. only last night sucked. :bigcry:
July 5, 200619 yr :( im going to die. i cant believe we lost that game.....aghhhh at least i got to see Def leppard and journey afterwards
July 6, 200619 yr yeah, but players weren't involved what do you actually want? you won ... ! Italian players are NOT involved in the scandal. Buffon's story with gambling is out of the scandal and the trial. The teams and administrators will be punished and that's undoubtly RIGHT, but the ones who will suffer the most are the supporters as usual. I can understand your bitterness, I think Germany played a great Championship, but failed the last match: be honest, we are not the best team in this World Cup, but your semi-final was really bad unfortunatly. As someone wrote before it's like Italy '90: maybe the pressure on this very young team was too high. I think their worst mistake was not to attack untill the end and wait for the shoot-outs: that gave us a free way to goal.

I agree Klinsmann should not leave: he did a huge wonderfull work. They can still achieve a lot.
July 6, 200619 yr Im looking forward to saturday' date=' though... ;) it's gonna be cool :nice:[/quote'] yeah, and i honestly don't mind if they win ... really now
July 7, 200619 yr first they sent that "material" of frings while other footieplayers don't get a stupid punishment. you all think that i just want to find excuses for yesterday's game. ... but no, i just have the opinion that it wasn't very fair. italy is tangled up in that scandal within their country ... Greece gets blocked right away but the fuckin FIFA doesn't even punish the italians. i just want justice ... i'm not a bad loser germans aren't bad losers and i think we showed it by congratulating the other team first.... The worst thing I've seen or better listened to during the game (as I already wrote in another thread) was German people in the stadium whistling at hour anthem and every time one of our players was touching the ball...and you call those fair supporters? And moreover, twice during the match German players didn't give Italians back the ball...and you call it fair play? This is just to make things more objectives. And talking about the problems in our country...well it's our own business and as stargazer said none of our players were involved. Don't know why you had to mention this thing...this is pointless and childish, because it doesn't have anything to deal with the WC.

July 7, 200619 yr ^ Of course it has something to do with the World Cup because it's in the media everywhere and so many Italy players are involved (yeah, I know, the players itself aren't involved, but their football clubs)..

About this I have to say that they obviously whistled because of this frings thing.... And I have seen two fouls by germany (I think by Klose and Ballack)......Klose wanted to give the italian player his hand.....to stand up...but he refused it......same with Ballack......he had a "crash" with an italian player and after that they "hugged" each other....when the referee was watching...as the referee was away the italian player.....well what did he do?...I think he pulled Ballack's hair or ear or something like that.... So...then I think.....the fair play wasn't on both sides..
July 7, 200619 yr Oh yeah yeah, I've seen that thing with Ballack and was like "What the fuck??" ! The Italian player acted like he wanted to hug Ballack, Ballack "accepted" and hugged him and than the Italian hit him on the back of his head.. You could see that Ballack was totally shocked and irritated.. I wonder what was going on there!
July 7, 200619 yr Obviously you misunderstood what I tried to say. I didn't want to make a battle for "the most fair play" team, but just wanted to show that wrong things came both sides, while it seemed that all faults were Italy's side. I don't know which other words I can use to make this point clear. and about the scandal, who cares if players' clubs are involved? we are talking about played football, not about football in tribunals ;) if our players didn't give a damn about it why should all the other people?
July 7, 200619 yr ^ You made your points clear, don't worry. I guess she only wanted to defend the things you said, you know. Because whistling for no reason and just because "Your team is our enemy right now" is very unfair and wrong, but they did whistle for a reason - although we still don't know if Italy DID want Frings out, who knows..
