Confetti is more fun than no confetti. I mean its like free souvenirs!

i might have to ditch radiohead soon... they better start giving out free shit at concerts :P

I'll be seeing Thom Yorke for two shows in April :wacky:

also in May: The Album Leaf, Beach House and Jonsi

I want to go to Beach House too! But I'm already going to Amsterdam 6 or 7 times that month, so it may be a bit much. As it's a five hour round trip and all. :dozey:

I may be seeing John Mayer and I may be seeing Regina Spektor

Yeah, he aint coming to Perth so thinking of flying over to Brisbane for this one.

I may be seeing John Mayer and I may be seeing Regina Spektor

Regina Spektor was really good live!

Beach House was really great when I saw them open for Grizzly Bear! The venue was a chapel, so since the band has a more relaxed feel the natural reverb of the venue made them sound really incredible!

I'm kinda on the fence about seeing them because the venue they're playing at is rather big (it holds about 1500) compared to venues they've played at before (250-450). It's a converted church, so the atmosphere is amazing for any kind of band. I don't think it will sell out quickly though, so I still have some time to think about it. Well, that and I'm kind of broke. They're playing here end May by the way.

My concert schedule would be like this:

May 3 Flight of the Conchords

May 4 LCD Soundsystem

May 15 Ólafur Arnalds (possibly, haven't got a ticket yet)

May 18 Broken Social Scene

May 23 The New Pornographers

May 25 The Antlers

May 26 Beach House (possibly, haven't got a ticket yet)

May 31 Snow Patrol (possibly, have got a ticket but it depends on the support act whether I go)

June 2 Jónsi

That's.. 45 hours of travelling. I'd basically be living in trains. XD

It's a bit too crazy, but I won't be able to go to many concerts in June as I have finals then. (I have to do some serious studying because I failed a lot of courses in January :dozey:)

I'll probably buy a ticket if I get a job soon though. :wacky:

wow! that's quite a concert schedule!
I know! I wasn't planning on it, but it just.. happened. Plus, because of my student grant I can travel for free during either weekends or weekdays, so I usually don't even have any transport costs. The main problem is this though:

42734535.jpg

That's a 2,5 hour single journey and the last train leaves at 23:30 (sometimes a bit too early to stay all the way through the encore). :dozey:

I just can't help myself. :wacky:

You all are so lucky. I havent been to any foreign band's gigs. I know, it sounds very lame. But no one comes to Lithuania. The only hope is "Be2gether" festival in june. probably the only proper festival held in Lithuania. but the list of bands hasn't been announced yet. so the only thing i can do is pray.
