I hate all these insurance and debt busting agenices commercials - and they seem to take up like half of every commercial break now! Aaaarrggh!!!! :angry:

I hate the ones where they show 'family life' and 'couples' as if everything was so idyllically perfect all the time - there is one with a guy making a phone call for a loan, I think to a firm called Picture This or something where his wife is camcording him and he is playing with a football. Grrr - makes me need a fix of Coldplay to recover!

Surely not ALL of them are annoying (so some some extent, at least). I actually liked the Adidas +10 team ones they played for the world cup and the Telus ones, mainly because of the music accompaning it.

 

The most annoying ones I find are the cheesiest ones that sound forced.

i liked the nike commercial with the dancing women where they said "you cant tell me im not an athlete", or something like that. It was a really nice commercial.

 

i also like the ones with a twist which are really cool in the end.

Like we had a commercial for our cable company VOD (where u order videos on demand). So the was this kid and he had his eyes closed the whole day and then when he met with the girl he loved he opened his eyes and then they say "Hot VOD, see only what u wanna see". That was a nice one...

Well, Sky, don't know what your commercials are like in Canada, but here 99% of them are incredibly cheesy and moronic. I just prefer to not watch them. I worked out a while ago that the average person in the UK watches over 200 hours of adverts a year - that is around 14,000 hours in a lifetime!!!

There's one - again some toilet refreshener...in it...toilet is set ON the sea...guess it's very subtle indicator where all that crap goes.
