And there we go, 2-1 to Milan.

For a team which cheated their way to victory, well done. don't yet the football yobs steal the trophy, after-all it's only 18 months old ;)

32 points wasn't it?

"Rafael Benitez is complaining to the referee that he didn't play the full three minutes of added time."

Off course, why would the Ref play the full 3 minutes, just as Liverpool were about to break though, he would lose his bonus from Milan.

Liverpool need a goal-scorer, they had large periods of domination but couldn't finish it off. It's the story of their season.

This... is... terrible...

I'm going to take my complaining somewhere else.

I'll go scream at somebody.

So that's the World Cup and the Champions League made total jokes of within the space of a year. Well done FIFA/UEFA!!;)

Gattuso diving again. What we really need is not another AC Milan Liverpool final, it's 4th official TV replays. At least the cameras caught his face on the end of a boot. I'll treasure that one forever

33 points adrift of Inter Milan (ATM), how can AC Milan call themselves champions of Europe if they can't even get within a reasonable distance of the champions of Italy?

True even with the 15 points added, it's still 18 points adrift.

Sevilla are more champions of Europe, at least they are still in the title race with a reasonable chance of winning the Spanish league.

YAy. Im happy, Chelsea didnt win, but Milan did

i'm very disappointed. liverpool did really well and were definitely the better team in the first half.

i was really annoyed that ref didnt add enough time and he made some other bad decisions as well.

anyway congrats to milan.

Well there's a surprise!!

Congratulations Milan...

...although I really wanted to win Liverpool the cup.

We wanted to watch the game at one of my friends' house. We turned-on the tv at 8.45pm and suddenly we noticed that she didn't receive "DSF". :o Panic... shock... She tried to find the channel but it was bootless. Suddenly a few minutes later we found "TF1", a French channel, where we watched the whole game then! The language is so hard to understand, because the commentators have spoken very fast. Anyway... it was a nice experience. :D

The whole game was absolutely boring I think. Milan was a bit better and had more chances. I really can't stand Gattuso! I nearly had to puke when I saw Berlusconi holding the cup... That's my little summary of this final!

AAND I quote:

Milan will win it. Man Utd have already peaked, Milan will teach them a lesson like they did in 2005! It'll be a Milan/Liverpool rematch in the final. It's 2005 all over again! This time the right team will win though and Milan will get their 7th European cup!

i totally agree with you ian.........Milan deserved to defeat Bayern....but has been very lucky to find easy opponents to reach the semifinals.....Man utd will humiliate them...( I HOPE;))

:laugh3:

HAHAHAHAHA WE get the last laugh :laugh3: :laugh3: :laugh3:

FORZA MILAN

we are the champions my friend

Milan's the BEST, FUCK the rest!

we had to watch the cl final in french four years ago. the telly didnt work properly and we didnt understand half of the things the commentator said. not a great experience!

i didnt think the game was borning... the fa cup final was. ;) i believed liverpool could come back from being 1:0 down but inzaghis second goal was crucial.

i cant stant gattuso either btw

Prior to the match, they mentioned that this ref was "Milan's lucky ref" as they haven't lost a match when he's been in charge. Now I wonder why that is. Raffa waited too long to put Crouchie in the game IMO.

^^ That's true. Do you think it has something to do with the Milan winning? ;)

Lots of people here don't seem happy about AC Milan winning the final.

Anyway, I am happy. :nice:

It's not that I don't like Liverpool, I like them and at least for me they're better than Man Utd.

And yes, overall Liverpool was better in playing the game but their finishing was bad though there was also some good safe from Dida.

I don't like the first goal, it had a bit 'lucky-ness' in it, but the second one was good.

Inzaghi could managed to get out of the offside trap by Liverpool players which is rarely happened, hehe..

The cheating or diving by Milan players are nothing new at all.

And it's not just Milan but all Italian football team.

I think it's already in their blood or something.

I hate it too.

But still.... Milan is the champion, whether you like it or not. :)

Yar,they are very shit this year it's true, but Liverpool had a big difference too.

Well I don't, and football's reputation is the REAL loser.:veryangry:

The cheating and diving are not exclusive property of italian players.......probably we've invented them....but others have copied us....

About Milan's victory: after a good road to the final....they have played a bad match yesterday...cause of Liverpool way of playing i suppose, but anyway the Reds didn't do so more to win...Milan has been lucky (as they are usual:D:D) in this final. I don't feel happy cause an italian team has won the Champions. They didn't have to stay in this Champions league this year....and all europe knows!Quite all Italian people (who doesn't like milan i mean) wanted Liverpool to win... I 'm just happy for their italian players like Maldini , Gattuso and Inzaghi...just that.

The most pathethic thing was to listen Sivio Berlusconi who said they've been stronger than envy and unfairness........BUT WHAT?...

Berlusconi's involvement is even more of an embarrassment to football. It should never have been allowed. It's like giving the mafia the green light.

Have youn listened to him, Mark, after the match?:(:(...

Anyway....we and my friends were imagining him with the head inside the cup, with all the milan players beating and kidding him:laugh3:

I got fed up and switched off before the end of the match. I've definitely found I've been losing interest because of all the corruption and scandals. Football's name is is in danger of being tarnished forever.:(

Mark...that's modern football.....The scandals are in young leagues...where trainers teach to the kids to how to cheat and how to make to win the opponent.......How can we change it?It's a system....it's not easy to erase soon.....Is in england in this way? i suppose ....less but yes;)

see you later dude...gotta go to university now....we'll speak later too:)

I was gutted with the result to say the least. For some reason though, I did not get the feeling that liverpool would win, when ac milan scored for the second time that was it for me and I switched off heart broken, then I flicked over to find liverpool had scored and I had a glimmer of hope that maybe they were gonna make a comeback, but bugger me, it was too late for the comeback!!!!!!
