Aw c'mon, she's just the messenger.. albeit a hell of a vague one. Maybe she was told not to give any reasons or maybe she doesn't know them yet. She's getting it pretty harsh (especially in the official forum), considering the no dvd decision wasn't hers to make.

 

It seems so weird that EMI isn't cashing in on the success of the tour. I so feel for those fans that were put through hell to record the concert with bad seats and lied to about the meet and greet and prize package and then dumped around Toronto with no transportation, all for nothing.

Well once people start making loads of money off of e-bay from selling recordings of the live concert, the label maybe will realize how incredibly STUPID this choice is! Why wouldn't they release it is all I wanna know!!! They have the fricken footage, and they'd make TONS of money off of a DVD!!! I'm really really really pissed that I won't be able to re-live the wonderful tour! It's just plain stupid, really. It's a terrible business move on the lable and Coldplay's part. I think we should sign a petition, but it won't get anybody anywhere. I doubt it would actually work. But if someone starts one, I'd be happy to add my name!!!

If it gets shown on some channel half the world can't get, the other half'll upload it to the multimedia section so we can all enjoy it...you know how eager we all are to post everthing we find for each other. No one will miss out.

the long awaited TLT DvD is a no go and with no real reason to WHY!!! i'm not angry at Debs, as she is just the messenger and it's her job to update us, but the actual fact there is no DvD just confuses and upsets me. Indeed this is a black day for fans, or me atleast and i was SO looking forward to it. i demand an explaination so i can find reason for this ridiculous decision.:thinking:

Oh no! That means no tour diary either! If they even show the tour on tv they better then show the whole concert rather than skipping a few songs.

If you look at it that way, then there is no need to get all angry and bothered coz all that Deb is saying is that she's surprised why we are celebrating / anticipating the release of a DVD when the announcement is for a TV screeing... Of course I can't say for sure this is what is really what Deb meant, but it sure could be that way. ANd a future DVD wouldn't be ruled out either.

 

I sure hope that the DVD thing isn't permanently off their plans... But either way, cheers people :kiss:

that did cross my mind but after reading what that post was in relation to, all the posts before Debs' comment are i reference to the TLT DvD.

 

the thread she made earlier about the Toronto concert being televised and not released on DvD is also upsetting, and i can see where some people can get confused.

 

anyway, as much as it pains and upsets me to repeat, there is no TLT DvD :cry::angry:
