It's a bit shit really, isn't it?

Nothing happens. The lyrics are boring and predictable. The solo's dull.

And according to Noel, it's "the most poppy thing they've ever done since Roll With It", and it's "annoyingly catchy". What a load of bollocks.

If this is the best they've got to offer out of those supposed 50 odd songs they had to choose from, then I'm extremely disappointed with this.

Calling on the stars to fall

And catch the silver sunlight in your hands

Come for me and set me free

Lift me up and take me where I stand

She believes in everything

In everyone and you and yours and mine

I waited for a thousand years

For you to come and blow me out my mind

Heyyyyy Lyla

The star’s about to fall -

So what you sayyyy Lyla

The world around us makes me feel so …

Smallll Lyla

If you can hear me call and I can …

Sayyyy Lyla

Heaven can I help you catch me if I … fall

She’s the queen of all I’ve seen

And every song and city fall on here (not sure about that bit!!!)

Heaven held my ?????

She rang the bell for all the world to hear

Heyyyyy Lyla

The star’s about to fall -

So what you sayyyy Lyla

The world around us makes me feel so …

Smallll Lyla

If you can hear me call and then I can …

Sayyyy Lyla

Heaven help you catch me if I … fall

The world around us makes me feel so …

Heyyyyy Lyla (continue to fade)

Tis an interesting song. It's not terrible, but it's not mind blowing.

i was actually really disapointed at first listen. but im sure it will grow on me.

I think it's alot better than the whole album put together but it's nothing compared to the older oasis stuff. I think it has growing potential :)

Your link doesn't work Justine

Ohhh can anyone send me it or something that link unfortuanely (...spelt wrong) didn't work for me

Cheers xxxxxxxx

I am Polish too, and I was just surprised that that's where it came from.

damn i heard about this town but can`t remember where exactly it is. so your name is actually JUSTYNA :D

Yes... it still says that on my health card, it is quite annoying. People never know how to say it. I go by Justine

hehe i know how to say it. you know my full name? kasia is the short form.

Am I the only one who thinks the lyrics to Lyla absolutely suck ass?

Theyre the blandest thing ever, even for Oasis.

The song is nothing special and would go nowhere if it wasnt by the guys who wrote Wonderwall.
