June 4, 200917 yr I prefer Oasis over Radiohead. I dont go ranting about Oasis over every thread in this forum also, unlike others! Loved your comment about briggins in another thread. I still laugh at it now..."I dont come here to wank all over Radiohead. You're so far up that slit eyed cunt's ass you can see out his mouth'. - Pure Gold.

June 5, 200917 yr Interesting to see only 6 people believe Don't Believe The Truth is their best album. It's fantastic and is a lovely album stripped down on production compared to their other albums. Don't believe what those gaybos say on the Radiohead side where they say Oasis are just Beatles imitators and who have just made the same 7 records
June 5, 200917 yr lol, as if no radiohead fan ever comes near this thread. I downloaded the Masterplan C.D. off a whim before a trip I took several weeks ago. Talk Tonight, Rocking Chair, and the title track really stood out.
June 6, 200917 yr Oasis announce refund details for Manchester show Concert-goers must submit refund form and original tickets Oasis have announced refund details for their show last night (June 4) at Manchester's Heaton Park, which saw the band leave the stage twice due to technical difficulties. The Gallaghers promised to give fans at the 70,000-capacity venue their money back, even though they ultimately returned to complete a 23-song set and played past curfew. The band have asked concert-goers to print out, complete and sign a form available on their website, and mail it in along with their original tickets by June 12 in order to receive a refund of £38.30, which they say will be paid within 42 days of the deadline. http://www.nme.com/news/oasis/45148 :stunned:
June 6, 200917 yr oh i love these guys. when i was 15 i was sure i was gonna get married to noel gallagher :D instead of a proposal ring all i got is a little wink from noel back in 2002. that's enough for me ;] i always thought liam's a bit.. umm...how to say, a bit full of himself, but he's a damn good lead singer. i can't decide which is my favorite album of theirs. gotta be whats the story morning glory. or maybe not. i dunno. i love dig out your soul a lot too. this album kind of got be back into oasis. i don't think i've listened to heathen chemistry and don't believe the truth more than 10 times altogether. but the latest album's great.
June 13, 200917 yr Heaton Park was mental such a great gig. Best day ever! OASIS Greatest band in the history of the world To think that in all the years the earth has existed, and all the years the earth will have in the future, WE were around when the greatest band ever were alive and kicking. My clips from Heaton (Sunday) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nb8uWRTdZVU]YouTube - Oasis - To Be Where Theres Life - Heaton Park Manchester 7th June 09[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtfbWpdLSus&feature=channel]YouTube - Oasis - Liam Gallagher Posing - Heaton Park Manchester 7th June 09[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHm1fOuvdKU&feature=channel]YouTube - Oasis - Waiting For The Rapture - Heaton Park Manchester 7th June 2009[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mD8zoKfjrGk&feature=channel]YouTube - Oasis - The Masterplan - Heaton Park Manchester - 7th June 2009[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-zJDiOQnTk&feature=channel]YouTube - Oasis - Slide Away - Heaton Park Manchester - 7th June 09[/ame]
June 13, 200917 yr I need a new album NOW if i ever won the loto, i'd go and see Oasis everywhere Never get sick of them
June 14, 200917 yr so fucking jealous. Those stadium gigs are amazing. Did you enjoy any of the support bands?
June 14, 200917 yr Kasabian were brilliant they are now for me 3rd best band in world behind Oasis and u2 Enemy were ok - cant stand Tom Clarke though Twisted Wheel had a couple of good tunes Free Peace were nothing special I got there at 2pm, near the front. First time in the pit, from now on there is no where else to go as it is the place to be. Legs were in so much pain afterwards though, 9 and a half hours standing!
June 15, 200917 yr I bet. But those kind of gigs are my idea of heaven so I guess it would have been worth it. I am a big fan of Kasabian, Like the Enemy and Twisted Wheel so it would be an awesome day out. Can't wait until they come to Australia.
June 16, 200917 yr So, 'I Believe In All' will be the new Oasis single... http://cgi.ebay.com/Oasis-I-Believe-In-All-Boy-With-2009-PROMO-CD_W0QQitemZ120433064178QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CDsDVDs_CDs_CDs_GL?hash=item1c0a5eb8f2&_trksid=p3286.m63.l1177&_trkparms=240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50
June 16, 200917 yr both those tracks could and should have been on DOYS Hopw there is a 4th song from the album as they are still touring and it can do no harm to be where theres life - the first non-gallagher single would be a great choice then hopefully new LP in 2010
June 16, 200917 yr Nope. It wont be a single. Noel and Gem said before there were no more singles until the next album. Plus its only a promo, doesn't mean anything. I agree, both good tracks!
June 18, 200917 yr I sometimes think that Oasis have the shittest management team 1) why no singles are properly released in Oceania? 2) Same for USA 3) Make releases simultaneous with tours i.e South America should have had a big single when they were there 4) Why have these crappy download EP's which cant chart? 5) A few more adverts to promote album would be nice 6) Why are top songs like Boy with Blues only on some expensive box set (obviously for the money), but they could be big hits 7) A 4th single will do no harm The world needs Oasis
June 18, 200917 yr 1) I know, I have to buy them from oasisinet.com shop, costs me more! Although, TSOTL is physically released, there are still some on shelves of stores. 2) No idea. Annoying considering DOYS charted well there. 3) Because management are idiots. 4) Nobody likes remixes. Physical singles with B sides PLEASE OASIS 5) TV ads? They had Russel Brand doing them over in the UK.... 6) Yeah thats annoying. Just promotes piracy. 7) Only if they put a proper one out. It's just not an album of 'singles' like others have been.. I feel your frustration.

I feel your frustration. because they dont care about charting singles and big hits, even right at/just after their commercial peak they only released 3 UK singles from Be Here Now. Just enjoy the music and stop worrying about where it charts, it's not like they need more chart success anyway, not many British bands can claim every one of their studio albums has got to number 1. And very few rock bands can claim to have had 8 number 1 singles.
July 12, 200916 yr I wouldn't be suprised if at some point dig out your soul was re-released with the bonus disc from the boxset included in the main packaging.
July 12, 200916 yr Just got back from Wembley, the show was AMAAAAAAAAAZING. Only could get there right before Kasabian started, they were great though and I managed to get a decent view from my spot in the pit. 9 1/2 hours on your feet, that's mental :P Respect though, I pulled 9 last year at Radiohead in Victoria Park :D
July 12, 200916 yr OOH and they played Whatever which they haven't played in like 10 years!! And acoustic Don't Look Back in Anger with Noel was breathtaking, the entire stadium belting out the chorus, awesome.
July 14, 200916 yr Oasis are playing at BRIDLINGTON SPA in Yorkshire, England on AUGUST 20th, tickets go on sale at 10am July 15th (Tommorow) Bridlington is 15 minutes away from me! I hope I can get a ticket! (4,000 Capacity)
July 15, 200916 yr Hey can anyone who could send me a decent quality MP3 of 'Boneheads Bank Holiday' get in touch?? I'd really appreciate it! I used to have one ages ago but haven't been able to find it lately.
July 15, 200916 yr OOH and they played Whatever which they haven't played in like 10 years!! And acoustic Don't Look Back in Anger with Noel was breathtaking, the entire stadium belting out the chorus, awesome. Whatever? Ahhh i hate you, you're so lucky! I saw them 2 months ago and they were so fucking good! Best gig i've ever been to so far!
July 15, 200916 yr They are really quite quite good live. And yeah Liam said it was in honor of their last night playing in London. :D
