Also, I'm having some minor setbacks as far as this mew fansite idea is going. I just lost the best help I had to an immature argument. One of my best friends now isn't and I'm really confused about what to do. I know where I want to buy the domain (or domains as I have two names in mind) but as far as getting a site or two up by the end of Summer, that doesn't seem likely so if there is anyone who is even the slightest bit interested in sharing some advice with me (or joining the project):

Yesterday I listened to Special and Am I Wry? (because I really liked these songs from the videos you showed me) and Chinaberry Tree :D These pictures are amazing :nice:

And what I love to do while listening to Mew is look up their lyrics and interpret them. I've also been doing that a lot to Stina Nordenstam (she sings on a Mew song btw)

 

And that reminds me, Paula did you like anything you heard from Stina Nordenstams discography? :)

I d/loaded This Is Stina the other night, but it was late so I only d/loaded that one album. I've given it a couple of listens, but to be honest her voice started to grate on me after a little while. Musically, it's very good, but her vocals were a bit too...hmmm...idk...a bit too quirky if you know what I mean, a bit too flat and unvarying :\

 

I'll give one of the other albums a go at some point, but I'll have to be in the right mood tho..Thanks for the link anyway btw :D

Hmm... Well her vocals are a bit quriky at times. Her older stuff has more of a jazzy feel, the later stuff is more experimental... Maybe you'll like the stuff in between? :confused:
