I just started listening to Mew recently and I'm really loving the music. :)

:dance: me too. today was the first day i listened to an entire album of them!.. :nice:

So basically due to traffic on the M4 due to the b**tard fog, I got to the venue late, as in 7:45, which meant I got to around half-way between the stage and the sound-deck. Support band were pretty good, and Mew were fantastic, brilliant video playing behind them (cats playing violens)

One question.. Why isn't there a Mew thread in the multimedia section!? :inquisitive:

Where did you manage to end up for the show?

Mew were great on Monday!!! & i'm saying this as a non-fan, in all honesty, cos i'd never really listened to any of their songs til that nite... :)

think i have a preference for their rockier/faster sounding songs like Repeaterbeater, Hawaii. heh

 

but i didn't like the support band tho...never did catch the band's name. i felt their songs were rather boring. tho the Sideshow Bob hair guy behind me during their set was all into their songs...& annoying me with his big hair & arm getting in my way. luckily he moved away from me during Mew.

 

also passed by the tour bus on my way back, but didn't linger cos i had to get back to my assignment. :P

i only got there like 10mins before the doors opened cos i left my place later than planned...or at least the guard said "10 minutes" but it felt much longer.

yup. sure did. but there's loads of rubbish ones too...am sorting thru them now.

It depends on what style you like most, because every album is a different style.

Usually Frengers is the best place to start but I think you might like And The Glas Handed Kites more Ari, not sure about songs though :P
