Now you can block applications too, so if you get some good stuff and some crap from the same friend, you can just ignore what you don't want.

I block pretty much all the applications, as I want a clean profile page

I joined facebook about 3 months ago, and as you may know I live down south in Cornwall.

However, Facebook, in all its knowledge and wisdom, decided to inform me I was married and had lived with my wife for 6 years in London. I have no idea why or how, given I'm only 17! :stunned:

And even now it says I live in London, and can't change it.

 

Myspace doesn't do that, Myspace Tom is nice.

Much nicer than the invisible powers-that-be who run Facebook.

 

 

 

 

Also, about 12 hours after joining a had a load of emails informaing me i'd had a goat, a puppy, a pair of fluffy handcuffs and Barack Obama thrown at me. I don't really want Obama thrown at me, I think his time would be better spend trying to win the elections.

 

So yeah, facebook ruined my life.

Okay, overstatement. But it confused me for about 2 days.

I've just made an account there, just because my cousin has been asking me to do that since some weeks ago.. and i still dunno how it goes... well seems a lot cooler than the others social networks.... it will allow me to keep in contact with them, and it seems to associate someone to closer people and more "human" things.
