Sigur Ros - Untitled 3 AKA Samsketyi AKA the good night song. you wont stand a chance against it

Samkeyti - Sigur Ros

strangely, I don't see how anyone could fall asleep during this song. Maybe afterwards because its draining, but its one big emotional crescendo.

After the final note on the piano, I turn off my iPod and go to sleep...

Lovely

I always start with Bon Iver, then Midlake and when I REALLY can't sleep Sigur Rós' ( ). After that I give up.

I am a part-time insomniac. :dozey:

Mmmmm....

This one:

It even has the "Bed" inside...

I agree that Riceboy is perfect for sleeping!

Also:

Sigur Rós - Se Lest

It's just 9 minutes of perfection...

Volcano Choir

The whole album is just perfect falling asleep to.

Sufjan Stevens - Casimir Pulaski Day and Holland

Sigur Rós - Refur, O Fridur and Kafari

If you don't fall asleep during these 3 songs there's probably something wrong with you.

I usually listen to instrumental songs, so I dont sing along to them.

These two are from the movie The is England, two lovely pieces of art here.

If you get a hold of the album version of 'Everything' by Limp Bizkit then you should get to sleep in no time. It's 15 minutes long, it's not heavy, rather it's slow and kinda dreamy. It's nothing like the shite that they usually make, you can actually listen to this. Good for studying too.

If you bother to check it out let me know what you think.

Marching Bands of Manhattan-Death Cab

Run-Snow Patrol

Such Great Heights-The Postal Service

Riceboy Sleeps

It truly is an amazing ambient album. Boy 1904 is beautiful, same with Daniell In The Sea.

^

those two are probably my favorites on the album... especially Daniell in the Sea

You're on a Coldplay forum, is this really so hard? Coldplay puts me out like a rock a lot of the time, or at least Parachutes does.

Anything by Stars of the Lid or Steve Roach

Ah... Stars of the Lid

Coldplay wakes me up!

I put on For You and See You Soon, and the whole Parachutes album, and I'm out like a light. Also, Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd, Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol, and Hawaii Dreams by Mew are easy for me to go to sleep to.

For some reason I listen to Sufjan Stevens, even though a lot of them aren't the best "sleeping" songs but who cares. They've got a quality to them that makes them perfect. :P

I don't see why everyone keeps writing Parachutes, Shiver isn't something I'd sleep to :\

I don't know about everyone else, but I can go to sleep to just about anything!

I can even fall asleep to Politik
