I am not sure if they hate americans, but one thing is for sure, they do not look with good eyes.

I am not saying all europeans think the same, but there are some countries in which is better not say that you are from Usa.

The people I met in the UK don't hate Americans, but they hate Bush, and they feel sorry for the American people...not that the British are European, lol. THey hate being called that.

Well.... considering that you wrote Eurpoean with capital letter and american without it... Maybe you hate them on some subconscious level?..

The thot plickens.

I'm sure there are some good people in america... but in general I dont like them. Not that I'm European though lol.

Yeah, there are. Unfortunantly, there are also ignorant cunts out there like you.

Maybe they are jealous of our advanced grammar.

*ahem.

I don't hate Americans just because they live in USA. I despise Bush, that's true.

I've seen on TV some moron Americans, arrogant and stuff.

But of all the Americans I've met I can't say a bad word about them. Everyone on here from America I've spoken to so far has been cool.

Plus you have the NBA. I love America if for nothing else, for that. :)

rofl.gif Well it doesn't help endear you

I wouldn't say i hate them.

But the thing is that the only image we get of americans is that they aren't the wisest people on the earth. It's funny how most of the americans on this board are actually nice and not stupid.

So yeah, i don't hate the people, i just dislike the country

I do not hate anyone because of his/hers nationality.

But when I read the topic...I thought...

"And do Americans hate Europeans?"

People are very stupid animals. And they take hatred too personal.

IMO, of course

i love Texas and i havent met americans from other countries,oh and i like Jon Bon Jovi & RHCP members

Chili Peppers are from LA, although Kiedis was born in Michigan and Flea is Australian, they all call LA home.

Aww thanks Jack! :nice::P

Haha yeah I know how you looooove the NBA!

I don't think so. The few Americans I know are some of the friendliest people I've met!

For some reason, though, going to the country never appealed to me.

i'm not european so i wouldn't know what the general opinion is of americans (if there is one) but as a non-american, i find it sad how being associated with america has brought about so much negative connotations, especially when it has been responsible for a lot of good in the past and present.

each country has it's own share of problems, some more than others, and asking a question like this during a time where the situation for america isn't exactly ideal and could deliver impulsive responses. [i'm trying to steer away from the political side of things now lol]

all that aside, i've met americans that are great, others that are not to much, but same goes with any nationality so i don't see why we should expect so much from them when every country has their fair share of fantastic people vs. others.

No, there is a anti bush adminstartion in europw but thats all.

I have met many americans living over in Barca since, I hbeave moved here and some of them say the press and some of the peoples over here are against them but thats is because of their current dictator

yeah,i know and that is in America, isnt it?

Obviously I'm not European, but Canadians like to think of themselves as more sophisticated than the 'average' American. THat's not to say we hate them or think we're better. But alot of us think our world view is more progressive. I know better because I've met alot of very intelligent Yankees, who articulate themselfves well, and know thier politics.

I've also met a few that really do bring their snowshoes here in the summertime, lol.
