May 19, 200719 yr good results. as much as i love keane, it had to be sigur rós, no doubt about it. as for the others, i'm glad my votes actually made a difference. i'm assuming battle 3 would cause an upset, i don't think i voted for either but that outcome is sure to confuse beatles fans lol i want sigur rós up against snow patrol, because then they'd definitely be in the grand final :smug:

May 19, 200719 yr Author This is where I insert an evil twist :sneaky: The Semi Finals So 4 bands are left in the running for the prize of being declared the best musical act 2007, it's been a knock-out contest so far, but this is where things get changed. Each of the 4 bands left will fight it out against each other in a half-round-robin style contest, the top band at the end of the 3 clashes will be declared the champion. The voting will be kept the same. If the clash ends in a tie, the 2 points are spilt between the 2 bands, so they get a point apiece, and if at the end of the round their is a tie at the top of the table, than "Vote-Difference" comes into play. Do you understand the rules? *Waits 2 minutes* Yes, than we shall begin :)

June 8, 200719 yr Author Results Time :) In the 3rd Place show-down, Sigur Rós beats Snow Patrol by 15 votes to 7. In the main battle though, there was 3 votes in it, so if some of the "Don't Know" people voted for the band which came 2nd than the result would have been different, but never mind, as the votes has been casted, and cue a drum roll. With 12 votes to 9 votes, the winner of the final and the winner of the battle of the musical acts 2007, is a band who got 13 nominations to get into round 1, whom beat The Clash, U2, The Beatles & the 3 other finalists is...
