I must say, I got kind've pissed off at Damien today.

 

I read somewhere that apprently he announced that he and Lisa wouldn't be working together anymore without letting Lisa know.

 

She was touring with Snow Patrol and heard the news just like we did. The poor thing. Now this could be completely untrue, I'm not sure. But if it is, that's seriously not right.

Yeah, if I recall correctly that's how it happened. I read a blog where somebody posted about meeting SP and Lisa after a show and she (Lisa I mean) insinuated that Damien didn't tell her beforehand. Of course this was only a blog post and not the most reliable source but still. I haven't liked Damien as much as I did before reading that, tbh. :\

 

Also, the whole decision of kicking Lisa out seemed rather sudden.

I'm feeling the same way. Now we don't know what happened, there could've been a huge blowup, but he seems like a huge ass to me now. :uhoh:

Yeah, I was really pissed at Damien for doing that and even more so for the way he (apparently) handled it. We can't judge it fairly, but as far as I'm concerned, Damien acted like a stupid douchy sucker and doesn't deserve Lisa. Somebody should've kicked him in the balls or something. I've always loved the harmony between Lisa and Damien and I'm still quite sad that he chose to terminate their collaboration. I've always liked Lisa/Damien songs way more than Damien solo songs. It's a shame really, because I don't think Damien will be as good on his own, and Lisa isn't either (although she released some really beautiful songs - I wasn't that impressed with her solo cd).
