It's a guy from a Coldplay tribute band, actually, I had subscribed to him on youtube because of it. I was surprised to see him cover Damien :wacky:

I have to learn this song, like now. The chords are pretty easy, but his strumming pattern seems kinda hard!

But what a song <3.

Yeah, he doesn't really have a permanent pattern to it, he just feels it. When I try to just freestyle it, it actually comes out sounding pretty alike.

 

It's really fun to play on the drums too, because when you perform it live, no one's expecting drums in a song so mellow. You kind've shock them. :P!
