If you 'could live without the profanity' then obviously the music of Damien Rice is lost on you. The lyrics require that kind of expression. If someone you love breaks your heart in some way you're going to want to say 'fuck you'. If you don't like it then you're not going to appreciate it the way you should.

That's not at all what I mean, that part of the song is probably one of my favourite moments of the album actually.

Yeah but it's not gratuitous and if you're not playing it at top volume who is going to take it off you. I mean, as retarded as it would be to take a Damien Rice (of all people) album off someone for its content, you'd actually make sure noone heard anything 'offensive' in the first place. aye, Delicate's an amazing song! i'd say it's the one that really got me hooked on Damien Rice where Blower's Daughter was what led me to the album. :D
