I still can't believe I met him. :freak: I get butterflies in my stomach and a grin on my face every time I think about it. It all happened so fast. Too fast.

We should've taken a field trip! :cheesy:

Why Colombia? Why not some place that isn't like, 2000 miles away? :disappointed:

Maybe this means he'll be doing a tour again soon or somethin'. :cheesy:

EDIT: By the way, be looking for videos on Youtube!!!!!

:cheesy: I just heard Cannonball on the radio! I'd never heard it on the radio before!! :wacky:

I cant believe this, why spontaneous show in Colombia. Since his in the neighborhood (or continent, not much of a difference haha) he should come up here. I missed his presentation here in mexico like a year ago because I was having final exams AND it was somewhere I could not go if I wasnt over 18 and I wasnt back then -.-

I know. We're all dying for a tour... and new album. :bigcry:

I'm just glad to hear he did something musical very recently. For a while there, I thought he was gonna retire. :wreck:

^Hopefully people will still have taken vids and such :D

one of the old coldplayers here MAFE tried to get tickets to see his show in Colombia but she was not lucky :disappointed:

as most you say, i hope it mean he have a new album coming soon.

and no luck here trying to find videos of the show :(

Second Colombia show announced

Date: Saturday 8 of May

Time: 7:30 PM

Pleace: Barichara Santander, Colombia

Place of the concert: Parque para las artes jorge delgado sierra

Tikets: 50.000

Background to the gig

Damien Rice's Story 'Some colombian friends were showing us around and we visited a beautiful small town in the mountains called Barichara and saw people lining up behind a truck to collect water in buckets. It was so surprising to imagine that a town this pretty and detailed was built in a place without water and so we naturally asked the question and one question led to another and our curiosity grew and a few days later at a spontaneous concert in bogota we decided to donate the money to help out with the water situation in Barichara. This then led to a feeling of responsibility where we wanted to do the best possible thing with the money raised and before we knew it our friends had gotten environmentalists, and others with local knowledge, involved. Someone then suggested going back to Barichara to do a concert there and bring environmentalists and local people together to find long-term sustainable solutions to the situation.'

Andrew Calder's Story Imagine two travellers visiting friends in Columbia; one for the first time. Image the beautiful three hundred year old village of Barichara that we had the privelage to stay in. Now, image the people of this villiage without water; water to drink. water to bathe. water to cook with. We couldn't understand how this could be. We still are wondering and asking questions and it is this simple curioisity and concern that has led us on our mission to ask how is it possible? We imagine the village of Barichara returned to drawing water from natural springs as it had done for hundreds of years. We imagine diversified thriving crops. We imagine trees replanted that hold the water naturally in the ground. We imagine a sustainable ecological paradise that not only serves as a template and model for other villages throughout Colombia but all the world.

[Andrew Calder is currently working on a collaboration project with Damien.]
