wow i wouldve thought thier would be more girls who were fans of Coldplay then guys lol.. at the Coldplay concert i was at in Vancouver in 05 their was TONS of girls i would say like half the audience lol..

wow! 50-50. Then again, there are only 14 votes. but I thought it would've been at least 10(girls)-4. I've never been to a concert, but I remember my brother felt kind of awkward and disconcerted being amongst a mob of screaming prepubescent girls at a concert in california...as great as the music was.

It's hard to say and you can't really judge that based on concerts; there's a lot of variables to consider.

Maybe more girls in general go to concerts or maybe more boys do. Maybe more boys in general use this website, maybe more girls do ?

Honestly, there's more female on Coldplaying. Not many guys are going to get on message boards... especially this particular forum.

Well Chris in a interview said that they write coldplay songs to attract some ladies are a direct note to ladies.In a mtf interview he said that it is for promoting make trade fair for an advertising and awareness of poverty across the world.

So i think this band is especially for females.:)

Well, I'm a guy and it doesn't hold me back thinking the songs might fit what I live... and sometimes, I even thought there are few of them that seemed to be written for me.

He can stand in our shoes very well, I think.

 

That's how you feel that this or this song matches with what you live. (Of course, in my opinion)

i remember being surprised when i first joined the forum how many people were guys. not that theres anything wrong with that in the slightest; i just figured being such a rabid fan of an all-male band is more of a girl thing. most of the guys i know play down how much they like such things, no matter how much they actually are obsessed with them.

but even though i think the girl-to-guy percentage is somewhere around 70/30 (maybe 60/40?), i really like having a large number of guys to talk to on here. ive always gotten on better with guys in general, incidentally, but i like the varied opinions. i know I PERSONALLY often get so wrapped up in their looks and everything that it makes me sound like a gushy bimbo that doesnt care about the music as much, but really its the other way round. its nice to have some people that arent so mushy by nature :D
