I won't be downloading it as looking at it, it appears to be a RSS feed, google searchbar and a link to the forum plus some other bits and bobs, all 3 major bits I already have in Firefox (the Search Box, plus the RSS feed and link to forum are on my bookmark toolbar)

Yes, you can always uninstall it from your computer.
