How do I realise that somebody likes me?

:laugh3:Well, we're afraid to say what we're thinking because we're sensitive! (and that just wouldn't look Manly..) Plus, there's a fear of being hurt when you let your guard down.. We're not all the same, but most guys are afraid to show their feeling because of that.

We are what we are - our job is to hunt, make shelters, wrestle wild boars, and build things..(a generality of course, but it's our specialty). - we've got more muscle, less endurance, and our brains are hard-wired differently from women. It's just natural - that's all!

But yea, women are confusing!;) They're all into this socializing stuff, and relationships and everything like that.:P (which I finally understand, actually.) Plus, gals are busy making the nest comfortable, and we're working on the outside of the nest, so it's just the way things are.. Most guys don't play house when they're kids; they're busy building with blocks, or flying airplanes, or making things, etc. Gals have the social scene all figured out, and we're on another wavelength.. so, we're a bit clumsy at socializing in general..

Since humans are so successful that predators are no longer a problem, we're into Plumage  . Men try to look strong, virile, and athletic; smart in constructive ways, and socialize in the contact-sport way. Women try to look umm.. curvy:wink3:, strong, fun, happy, and socialize in more intelligent ways. But these are generalities at best, and perhaps strongly influenced by patterning at an early age.

All I can say is, "it varies"! Probably the truth is that we're really all a lot closer to love birds, than to wild jungle fowl. It's just the wavelengths of thought we're on are sometimes a ways apart, so you need to understand to use a gentle brush when trying to get our attention..

Hey that's an interesting post....it makes me think even more about men and women and their relationships towards each other and all that stuff...and i thought a lot about that the last couple of weeks

:( Is he too ugly?

How did you know that he's interested in you?

haha well ok he's not the prettiest.,..:P

but yes he's a nice guy but that's all.....I find him quite exhausting and strange..

mwha he told me on a party when he was drunk.....BUT I found out that he gets quite intrusive when he is drunk, plus he was really really really drunk....so maybe he tells this every girl...haha I hope....because he does not really know me...I don't really have anything to do with him....

Oh you can't really trust someone being drunk! :D Well when he's definitely not the prettiest one let's hope he tells this to every girl. ;)

haha yeah....I mean we do not even get into these super nice conversations....we do not really share the same interests so....I'm really abrasive if I'm not interested in someone...I don't want this person to hope there'll be more...

it's funny that I met this guy in the city first and some minutes later the one I'm interested in overtook me with his bike (ok I was on the other side of the street) and he obviously didn't see me and I just thought "Damn it!"...but I wrote him afterwards and told him....:wacky:

Oh I'm such a teenager

Well did you meet this guy again a few days after he was drunk?

Haha on Saturday I went to a disco in Oldenburg and they had built a new corner including two computers. It was sooo funny! People who met other ones on the dance floor went to the computer area afterwards to check the person on studiVZ! :D

Great idea I think to see if you have something in common with someone or not.

  • Author

Yes I met him today at uni and afterwards when I was on my way home in the city...by conincidence...

hahah really? What a great idea....but hm well actually it's quite absurd how you are not anonymous nowadays...

:) I think the idea is brilliant! Everytime I walked past I saw people browsing on studiVZ. ;)

Oh and btw, I'm in a similar situation as you. I'm probably in love with someone again! :) Don't know if she feels the same so the situation is a bit unclear though, but the summer is long. :D

  • Author

hahah well I find this idea really interesting...

oh so we are sitting in the same boat....but oh well the summer is long and the holidays are long too....

Ok I must admit that I'll be in Bonn often I guess...

Exactly! Well now my problem is that I don't know if I will move out or not. It depends on the study I will get. That make the whole situation even more difficult. But I won't give up hehe! ;)

Oh right....but who knows what time will bring?

Ok I've been saying this to myself for 4 years (or something like that) now and nothing has changed haha

The time will come Julia! Trust me! ;)

Well I'm going off now. I have the early shift tomorrow...

Good night!

whhhhaaaaa I can't believe it.....an emo asked me for my number tonight:wacky:

I must admit one of the funniest guys I've ever met....his look was the emo look but he definitely didn't act like that...mwha you could even go to him and say "haha emo"...he didn't care...:P

but well....hmmmmm...I didn't give him my number...either of stupidness (because he asked me for it as a pantomime hehe)....or because I don't really want an emo looking guy....:wacky:

Nothing wrong with 'emo' looking guys, as long as they don't try to convert you ;)

I know some guys who look emo, but don't act like it. Their hair looks stupid though!

Did you see him again Julia? heh

How did you tell he was emo?

  • Author

heheh no I didn't. And I think I never will. But I'm not really sad about this, because I didn't feel attracted to him or something like that. He was just really funny. My friend is sad about the fact that I didn't meet him again, because it was a quite funny situation:

I went to the party (it was a forest party...) with my friend and her boy-friend. So we were standing at the entrance and she said "Hey uuuh look at this guy. He's damn hot!" (it was the emo guy.....) I looked at him and said "Oh well he's an emo...that's it!He's let's say ok."...so we had a look for him the whole evening, because she thought he was hot and I always made jokes about emos haha. And then she had to pee, but didn't want to wait in the queue in front of the ladies toilet. (haha). So I went deeper into the forest with her. And there was this emo guy, too, well not in the forest but we passed his way....she said again something about him and i made a joke again. So, suddenly we heard a voice behind us which was talking to us. We had a look and well it was the emo-guy talking to us!

And this is how we got to know him.

Quite funny if we consider the fact that there were 100s of people and we didn't really care for them except for him before...

@Rick: Well, he ad black hair in front of his eyes. Those big black ear-rings with big holes in the middle. Mainly black clothes. The typical emo-style

and his band is called "sudden burst of anger"

Ah but just wearing black don't mean your emo......sudden burst of anger sounds like a death metal band....

Anyways carry on...:nice:

Juliaaa, screw those guys and marry me instead

:charming:

  • Author

hha Rick, well they make hardcore and metal music....I could show you their myspace...;)

awww Renny, actually I always tell those guys that I have a future husband in Peru, but they never want to believe this....:bigcry:

Hahahaha awww, i better go there for xmas then so they'll believe ya :cool3:

ps. hope we can still have some backstage action by then ho ho ho :wacky:

  • Author

Hey come on I even tell them almost every detail of our backstage action and this is always the point when they definitely want to meet me again...:wink3:

but this is the point where I say that I don't want to cheat on you...

so I'm glad you'll show them the rigth way on xmas...

Awww you're so different from Rolle, she cheats on me with anyone with a wee wee :disappointed:

And that's for sure, i hope i can get to meet your alter xmatic ego too , rawr! :whip:
