June 30, 200322 yr yea. It scared me when the writer was waiting with the doctor in the room with the dead body, and they were waiting until sundown to see what would happen. And the person was actually a vampire and started attacking them, that was FREAKY
June 30, 200322 yr yea, King's early stuff is good. The rest isn't really that good. Dreamcatcher was pretty good however.
July 2, 200322 yr i dont read a whole lot, the last book ive kinda been reading (ill read like 20 pages, stop, then not pick it up again for like 3 weeks) is 'the elegant universe'. its a book about physics. man im such a dork *runs and hides*
July 2, 200322 yr You all read such good books!!! I don't do much reading these days  but these are three of my all time faves: The Country Child - Alison Uttley The Black Cloud - Fred & Geoffrey Hoyle What Do You Really Want For Your Children? - Wayne Dyer The last one is more of a study on why we are who we are and how we can avoid passing on our mistakes to our children. I know it sounds trite, but reading this book completely changed the way I look at things. It's affected my whole life :)
July 6, 200322 yr The Stranger - Abert Camus ( it might be the same as the outsider) Crime and Punishment- Fedor Dostoyevski ( In spanish) The Lord of the Flies - William Golding Metamosrphosis - Franz Kafka ( Well I havent finished jet, but its just fantastic, and its in spanish) Cronica de una muerte anunciada - Gabriel Garcia Marquez The Universe in a nutshell ( I havent finish this either an its in spanish)

July 6, 200322 yr kafka- metamorphosis... that book is absolutely insane... i loved it though... insane? I quite disagree with you, but as I havent finished jet, I couldnt say somenthing with bases and according to the lecture. I've found the book a bit 'dense' and it has take me a while to read it, but as far as I go, it's not insane for me is just a very peculiar way to show the society.............. I just love the way he describes or more than that, the way he tells the events, Kafka's etter to his father, or whatever you called it there, is just so sinceresly painfully, I found that the letter inspiringly sad.
July 6, 200322 yr yea' date=' King's early stuff is good. The rest isn't really that good. Dreamcatcher was pretty good however.[/quote'] I didn't read Dreamcatcher but I saw the movie when it came out. I thought the movie was a bit stupid, so maybe I'll read the book sometime and see if it's better.
