January 13, 200818 yr ah, boys. cant live with them, cant live without them. in all honesty, though, i feel like i get boys more than girls. i was always the tomboy when i was younger (even if i did play with my barbies in secret at home :D) and to this day most of the people that i most enjoy and consider my closest friends are guys. they seem so much less complicated and so much more...fun most of the time. but yes, more immature. though i have a pretty good time mocking them and playing den mother. of course, i've always been the best friend and never the girlfriend because of this. besides, all the guys i know i've known since we were four and played in the sandbox. it makes them hard to date when their mothers used to cut the crusts off my PB&Js and we used to wear water wingies in the pool. so there's my curse with guys.
January 13, 200818 yr Gee thanks! Now I don't feel so awful.:) Well, I've got to plow snow and haul firewood tomorrow, amongst the thousands of other things. Good Night!
January 13, 200818 yr He talks about me in class out loud so I can hear him up front, just so I get mad. It's just so frustrating. I don't even give a fuck that they don't like my project. I'm not sad. I'm fucking angry that I can't do anything about it, and that some guys do think like that. I called him out in front of the class, telling him to not talk behind my back and that it was rude. He 'apologized' and started laughing with his friends. I could give a flying fuck about him. He's dead to me. I don't care anymore. He can kiss my FEMINIST ass. what a retard. you should put a more practical part in your research/project. you know, influences and consequences in men's attitude etc. to shut him up indirectly ;) "Men are usually intimidated by women who emphasize their gender and their abilities. This makes men afraid of losing their dominant position, and people like them can be found even in our class *cough* school. *cough*" ;) over AIM. ugh, what a nice way to ask somebody out.
January 13, 200818 yr If you think you have it bad finding boyfriends, you should try living for a day in my shoes
January 13, 200818 yr Wow... this thread really did grow fast. :stunned: Catching up... My first thought was definatly that this was about the Spice Girls... I always laugh at conversations like this on account of getting along with guys much better than girls. And don't date good friends. Seriously. It seems like a good idea at the time because obviously you already get along and like each other, but then when it all goes pear-shaped not only have you broken up with a boyfriend, but your old friendship can never be the same again... it's just so... weird and awkward. Yes, this is from experience. The one exception to that ^ that I've seen over and over is if you're at a point in your lives where you would want to be in a relationship together for the long run- basically when you're both ready to get married should things work out- and you can't stand the idea of ever not being together. That seems to work. But otherwise, it's doomed.
January 13, 200818 yr *is a boy a feels hated now* :disappointed: Oh i agree with you Erin, its kinda risky when you date your best friends cos if things dont work out you end up losing a friendship too and things will never be the same, it sucks.

That seems to work. But otherwise, it's doomed. i must agree with you entirely. i've so avoided dating good friends that it's utterly screwed me in the guy department so far. but i'm ok with that because my guy friends are so valuable to me that i wouldnt want to lose them or create awkwardness in the event of a break-up. i'm too scared of what potentially could happen in the future (in the bad sense) that i've never made a move, despite a couple crushes on many of my friends at one point or another. and it's ruined so many of my friends lives that i dont even bother. and i get along with guys in general waaay better as well. its just a thing, i guess. i really hope that doesnt screw me over personally, because i always try to make friends first, slowly but unconsciously closing the door on a relationship. i've got to learn how to stop that.
January 15, 200818 yr thanks girls! but girls, i still believe that there are few, FEW boys that are romantic, care about us and stuff.. i mean.. the perfect boy! the point is that the boy was jealous.....and that can break easily a couple...but you seemed to be really happy.....so....what an idiot! :p i'm in a relationship with a cping member and i think i'm doing things right.... but i know very stupid guys......they don't jnow how to treat women... this is a good thread to read I guess there's no guys shorter than me anyway :P btw....that was funny lore :laugh1:
