Anyway, let me get this straight. You want me to take one of my absolute favorite songs (and the best thing about HTTT), and tell you something better than it.

But it's one of my favorite songs. How am I supposed to do that? I mean I could pick another slightly more favorite song, but it isn't artistically any better, or necessarily even close, it's just more sentimental.

 

The best I can do is fight fire with fire. How about 'Life in a Glass House'?

 

Oh, or if other Radiohead songs can't count... since it's been bouncing around my head lately... Joy Division/New Order's 'Ceremony'. Now that is a great song.

Anyways about the current avatar... I'll give you the abridged version.

 

You know the Hodiau Direkton message board? Well, I was registered there and weirdfishee posted this picture of Thom and he was looking like a robot and I thought it was funny. Later on I was teaching a friend how to use photoshop. I got to the point where he was playing with layers, so I needed to give him some source images... so I gave him a picture of a robot and the Thom picture.

 

So anyways we discussed it and decided that Thom Yorke would be so totally cool if he were to breathe fire, so we added the 'fire' to the picture using the paint brush.

 

Next, he added the text 'Amazing!' to the robot and gave it a crazy hand that we found online.

 

We were laughing hysterically the whole time.

 

We ended up keeping it this small:

I detest some of the At Easers so much... I find even this forum to be a better Radiohead fansite. :P

Yeah, there's a lot of Radiohead fans who hang around here because they can't handle the negativity on at ease. I still lurk there all the time (name's Zarblatz if you're wondering) but I'm kind of too shy to post anything constructive.

Elbow - Switching Off

I get a lot of slack on At Ease just for enjoying LOST... it's not a healthy environment over there. :(

 

They're making Radiohead fans even MORE miserable, and this causes them to be even worse on the forums.

 

Therefore, At Ease is self-perpetuating depression.

 

That's not to say that all Radiohead fans are unhappy... for example, I'm about as happy as can be. :D

It's "Run Through the Jungle" by Credence Clearwater Revival redone by Radiohead. There there!:P
