Viva la Vida possibly leaked?

Featured Replies

I saw a torrent, tried to download, completely fake. But I thought that it could have been real for a second so I posted, but about a second later i edited, realizing that the password won't open the zip.

We are pleased to offer our latest release...

Coldplay - Viva La Vida (2008) - AUDIO / MP3 / 192k / CD-RIP (Genuine !)

You will need a password to open the zip file. To get the password, all we ask is that you do the following:

1. Visit www.logisticsjobs.co.uk

2. Click on the first link in the list in the middle of the page.

3. When the sponsors page opens, the password is the second word in the first paragraph (beginning with 'h')

Doing this will only take a few seconds of your time but you will have hours of listening pleasure for it.

Your support is appreciated. We look forward to delivering our next release...

Enjoy !

I'm very doubtful that this is genuine, but heck I'm downloading it anyway. Just in case.

so... it's just publicity to that site :dozey:

The person who made this password is stupid. The link he tells you to navigate to is different every time the page is refreshed.

But I looked through all the possible links, and I think I have the password.

Highways

The download is stuck at 10.2%, so there's no way it'll finish.

it's a fake...

I think so yes, and I opened the zip and it says it has 16 tracks, so it can't be genuine.

Be careful.

You never know some evil person might stick something nasty in a fake torrent, but I would imagine the album is kept under lock and key, with reviewers having to come in to listen to it.

i have also downloaded the torrent file, but I'm also stuck at 10.2%, so it's fake:dozey:

i'm not even bothering until someone comes here and writes "OMG IT WORKS, IT'S THE REAL DEAL!!!"

i kind of don't think it will leak at all, though, at least not until june 13 when it gets released in some places in the world. it seems like you'd have to screw up really, really badly to have something get loose these days, and while i know it definitely still happens, i would imagine artists like coldplay have huge security around these things.

The way I can see it leaking is at production line, where someone pockets the CD.

hmm. that's a good point. i didn't think of it like that. i always imagined someone like, stealing the masters or something rather than just swiping a CD off the factory conveyor belt.

in that case, how long before the release are CDs usually produced? anyone have a guess?

I suppose its within a couple of weeks after everything to do with the album is finalised. If the Raconteurs can finish an album a couple of weeks before releasing it, then I reckon the process starts pretty soon after completion. Although, the Raconteurs are a special case, they wanted to release it straight to the fans as soon as possible.

There's a high chance I don't know what I'm blathering about, but still.

Hopefully we will hear a lot of Coldplay. We got Violet Hill. Prospekt/RS did say in the coming weeks, and the film The Escapist Coldplay have recorded a song for that. April the 8th or summat like that. So thats quite soon. And by then Prospekt will definitely have officially named the track-listing. So alot of Coldplay in the coming weeks, but then again we always say that dont we??

I could've told you it was a fake, in fact many links like those are chock full of spyware and crap.

 lol

i've changed my mind, i'm not going to down load a leaked version...

probably because i don't have sendspace or rapidshare or any of those thingies :uhoh:

Or it could be a trap set by Evil Music Industry, as soon as you open the files you get picked up and the :policeman: will be at your door within the hour

Be careful.

Well I dunno, For X&Y they got the reviewers to go into listen to it with guards making sure nobody could get it out, and still somehow it got leaked before it's release. I had X&Y about 4 days before it's store release, then I went to buy it in store for the sleeve, I imagine this one will be the same, June 16th?? pppfffft, more like, June 12th!

  • 2 weeks later...

WTF?!!?!?!?!?!?!

HEY GUYS I ACTUALLY DOWNLOADED THE FULL THING!!!!!! but I still can't get the password.... It sucks. It could be fake, but its worth a try right? If anyone does get the password please post it !!!! Thanks:dozey:
