May 22, 200818 yr I wouldn't say they suck. Not yet. I mean, the past week has been brutal, they clearly started to miss A-Rod and Posada in the line up, and I think that's the big issue. Out of all the games in this miserable week, they've really only been completely out in two of those games. The first game at Tampa and Tuesday against Baltimore. Even the Sunday night game, they had chances down 4-2 to put some runs on the board. The only game they looked like they were just not there was Tuesday. They haven't played sloppy and they haven't found ways to lose, with the exception of Tuesday night. But everyone the past three years has said that the Yankees were done in the middle of May and every year they turned out to be wrong. I think that this year, doubters will be just as wrong. A-Rod is back, Jeter is healthy and Cano had a good game last night. As long as the offense keeps ticking like it did last night, guys like Kennedy and Mussina can get away with 5 innings pitched and four or five runs. I was very pleased with last night's game because Rasner kept his streak of good starts going and the offense looked just like it was supposed to, so I don't think it's time to panic yet.

October 7, 200817 yr ONNNNN TO THE ALCS!!!!! the red sox OWN the angels in the playoffs. i reeeeaallyyy like their chances now. they have a better rotation than tampa and MUCH more playoff experience AND a much better homefield advantage. and then if they get by them they just have to deal with some NL team that wouldn't even be in the playoffs if they had to play in the AL. ahhhh i'm just so happy they got by the angels (who DID have the best record in baseball.)

THAT WAS SERIOUSLY THE MOST AMAZING GAME I HAVE EVER WATCHED IN ANY SPORT IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!! i was sitting there wondering WHY i was still watching a 7-0 game... and ive never been more happy about a decision. HOW DO YOU COME BACK FROM 7-0 IN THE 7TH INNING!!?!??!!?? SERIOUSLY!?!??! AHHHHHHHHHHH i'm sorry i'm being so obnoxious! but really no one can deny that that game was truly INCREDIBLE!! October 17, 200817 yr YES!!! they were down 7-0.... SEVEN TO ZERO... in the 7th inning and they scored 4 runs in the 7th, 3 in the 8th and 1 in the 9th. and in case you didnt know if they had lost tonight they would have been OUT. seriously amazing.

FREAKEN TIVO DIDN'T RECORD THE GAME!! :veryangry2: I was at work and was only able to watch the top of the 6th during my meal break. from the recaps, 7th seemed to wake people up, 8th must've been insane and by the 9th it had to be mental! Argh, it sucks to have missed watching it live!
October 17, 200817 yr i can't believe it!! the sox are doing it again!!! they're coming back!! i would love to see my two teams, the phils and the sox, in the series. but i'd have to root for the phils, but i wouldn't be as upset if they lost cause i <3 my sox. :D
