xsarehardcorex
Bit off topic, but is it true that every time an American says 'soccer' a British person dies?

aimorris
They haven't shown it again, but considering how ESPN usually makes one soccer commercial and plays it nonstop for months, I'm sure we'll see plenty of the commercial in the next few months

aimorris
can someone tell me who was in it? or just a bunch of players like ronaldo, ruud, henry...basically describe it I was surprised at hearing the Coldplay song in it so I can't remember much of it, but it was just a bunch of quick highlights and I do remember Ronaldo being it, but that's it
Texasluvsjonny
I hope hearing Coldplay can distract me from having to listen to Tommy Smyth and his "back of the old onion bag" crap.
Mimixxx
Neato. :D If this is what Chris said they were fighting about, then I guess it wasn't a bad choice after all. I mean, Coldplay and soccer/football... what more could you want? (providing the other soccer fans don't hate it that is.... :uhoh:) I was just going to say that, this is most likely what they were fighting over on Radio 1. "Shall we have a phone in?"
Fixed
I loved the Eurosport tagline for Euro 2000 - "No sleep till Rotterdam". They had football shows on TV all through the night, highlights, chat, everything - and the final was in Rotterdam. Great memories. The tagline for Euro 2008 has to have Coldplay in it somewhere, suggestions lol?
