May 11, 200818 yr Right then, given the change in the UK chart last year, where any song which has been legally downloaded can be entered into the charts, I think its time people start putting bets on where the two tracks, Violet Hill and Viva La Vida will chart. I'm guessing they'll be top 20 at least, given their ridiculously high placings on iTunes all week :D For fairness, we'll go with the Radio1 Official Chart, as there are several slightly different charts in the UK. This thread is for Viva la Vida only...
May 11, 200818 yr It wont be number 1 for sure. Its #4 on Itune's. Will make top 20 I think at #17. Will proberly go higher if it got radio play.
May 11, 200818 yr Definitely it won't be No. 1. There's no physical CD yet. And Coldplay's previously didn't perform THAT strong either. Btw, UK Singles Chart started to count airplay? I thought it's only sales.

But don't hold me to that...
May 11, 200818 yr :dozey: I voted before seeing that it was only for the SONG Viva la Vida.. so I voted number1.. well, it's the least I can hope for them !
May 11, 200818 yr Hey people! According to wikipedia, VH is #1 and VLV is #3 in the UK. Good news, BUT wikipedia is NOT reliable...
May 11, 200818 yr Author I don't think they announce the number 1 until about 7. So wikipedia lies I'm afraid!
May 11, 200818 yr well i think that in the uk is not yet eligible for the single chart but it looks like it was first in italy and second in germany as wikipedia says
May 11, 200818 yr Author Yeah, I don't think it charted in the UK. Maybe there is something about it being given away as a gift with the album pre-order which excluded it. But Violet Hill got number 8 :D

Gotta wait until the chart on http://theofficialcharts.com/index.php update, giving the top 100
