I highly doubt it. Plus the EMI dude told us the official title of the album is VIVA LA VIDA AND DEATH AND ALL HIS FRIENDS. Therefore no bonus disc called DAAHF included like some have speculated Nice question! LiJ fades out, then Chris counts in (1, 2, 3, 4) Reign Of Love. I think. exactly that Famous..... but one odd twist I believe it went something like 2, 3, 2, 1. Oh that Chris! can't just do a standard 4, 3, 2, 1 do you think that 42 is that song that we heard will be the song? It's so hard to say. After one listen everything seemed so great that it was that much harder to say this one song rises above the rest because really it's 13 songs that are just that good! And as we've herd from clips, and from me all pretty different from each other.

Thanks in advance :nice: I do remember the transitions of Life into Cemeteries & Viva into Violet being that way. I'm fairly certain thre were a few more but off the top of my head I couldn't really say exactly which there were. Alot of the times I was taken away from the intros/outros of songs because much of the heart is in the middle of these songs. I guess I'll meet you half way and say there's more of those in this record than there ever has been. Not that they have ever really used them before. The Escapist was one of the shorter songs. The only I think was shorter was Life in techniclour

It's becoming boarderline obsessing thinking about hearing it again. It's kind of like I've had the taste in my mouth and I'm starving for more more more. Plus it nice weather again and I can't wait to listen to it on my ipod while laying in my hammock late at night.

Let's put that baby to rest lol. I love your question by the way. On that first listen it about 46 minutes straight of the hairs on my neck raised and just pure bliss. It's so hard to pick specific moments that grabbed certain emotions because it all just happened so fast. There really is alot going on during the course of the album that will tug at many of our emotions. I think on many of our first listens the instrumental portions of songs will take first notice because they are just all this different step forward direction. Then on the secondary and future listens the lyrics come. I was sitting around on my lunch break from work today really thinking about just how pleased I am that the boys decided to takes things forward in so many different directions. They could have stayed the course and gave us something we'd already liked but instead decided to take this giant leap and go where Coldplay has never gone before. And they are better for it (not to take away from all the brilliance that the first 3 albums have been). Different but still the same band we fell in love with 7 or 8 years ago. Depending on if your from North America or the UK that is (or even later; thats ok to late comers are welcome). Hope that at least shed some light and semi-answered your question, if not we'll talk after we've both herd it a few times.

Or even that many people on this forum would trust any word I say. It;s been a very fun few days for us coldplayers I'd say. and we still have anywhere from 15 - 21 days left of fun until it's out everywhere.

I'm with you on that one as well. Was very pleased to hear quite a bit of strings through out the record. If I remember correctly Cemeteries, 42, and Strawberry Swing all have some very nice orchestration.

My humbled opinion is its the best album I've ever herd. Last friday after one listen I can already say I love/will continue to love the songs more than A Rush of Blood. Therefore in way many more words than necessary THIS IS THE BEST ALBUM I HAVE EVER HERD.

Last friday after one listen I can already say I love/will continue to love the songs more than A Rush of Blood. Therefore in way many more words than necessary THIS IS THE BEST ALBUM I HAVE EVER HERD. from 1 to 10? you would rate 8 or more?
