I completely agree!! It's one of their very best! Personally, I voted for Yellow. I mean, even though it was the first song I heard by them, it never really stood out until I had already become a fan (thanks to AROBTTH). Plus, it's QUITE overplayed....that definitely takes away from the appeal a bit. But, I still love it regardless! That's just if I had to choose.

Yeah, well I managed to go 10 days without Radiohead leading up to In Rainbows..

 

And I managed to not listen to any In Rainbows songs (except for videotape) until it was released!

 

So June 17th is nothin :P

hockeyyyy! i haven't been keeping up with the NHL side of things as i should be, but my brother and dad have that covered, so i can just badger them.

 

i quit both my jobs because i got one overseas for the summer, but that overseas job is requiring a lot of planning etc. ergo, minimal blog time. and my priorities have totally reorganized themselves in the past months...anyway. i'll get on it soon. i've been meaning to anyway.

Blah, you kidding me? Those 10 days I spent hunting for live songs from In Rainbows on youtube, in a desperate attempt to pass time. How you got by with only Videotape, I can only guess. By the way, the In the Basement version of that song was what got me hooked.

 

But wow, good job resisting radiohead for that long. It does make waiting for this album sound easy, seeing how much you love that band. Anyway, see you guys later, must fight the insomnia.

Yeah, the Basement version was the only version I heard. And I loved it! And then the album came out and I was dissapointed :( But the rest of the album is stellar.

 

Come to think of it, I think Videotape is the only thing that has kept In Rainbows from being my favourite album by them.

i guess if i'd heard the in the basement version of videotape first, i would like it better, but as it stands i don't really see where it's much better than the album version. that's my favorite track on the album.

 

sadly, there's no way i can go without coldplay until the 12th, and i don't really feel the need to. i'm going to make somewhat of an effort to quit playing the tracks (minus VLV...) so much. somewhat being the key word.

I couldn't decide between higher speed and we never change... so i picked the latter and instantly regretted it. :confused::lol:

Man this is going to be tough. Probably worse than the in Rainbows poll. Usually I pick about 3 or 4 that I want to go on, and vote against the others, but I don't think I can narrow this down that much. eep.

Ahh! The ones people want to vote off are the ones I can play on guitar the best! :P I really didn't fully appreciate We Never Change until I learned to play and sing it. It really conveys a lot of emotional pain, to me anyways. Maybe that's why people vote it off.

I can't believe that there are votes for "Sparks".

 

Or any other song except for "High Speed", for that matter.

 

And why the HELL does "We Never Change" have so many votes? That's one of Coldplay best songs lyrically.

Looks like We never change is going to be voted off early on, shame as it's probably become one of my favourite coldplay songs:cry:, such a beautiful song.

 

Love high speed as well, but compared to the others it probably has to go early.
