Playing Clocks and The Scientist on the Piano and playing Shiver on the guitar.

How do you play Shiver? Clocks has always been fun.

how do you play the acoustic part of shiver?

i know the intro-chorus:

799800

244200

577600

022100

nothing more:(

I've never got to play shiver, I found it a little hard to play and too hard to memorize for the weird chords due to the tunning

Its not a ridiculously hard song to play, it just has a whole bunch of chord variations, and you almost have to work off the official book as you'll never find a perfectly accurate tab online. The tuning is the same as yellow.

ok ive got the book.

so there's no chance of getting a standard tuning (or almost standard:P) on the internet?

kapone never tabbed shiver:(

I Bloom Blaum, since I'm an open tuning nut :)

Well I'm sure you can find versions of shiver on the internet, most of which will have standard tuning. But they won't be entirely accurate.

I enjoy playing The Scientist obviously on piano, along with Amsterdam.

A Rush Of Blood to the Head is quite fun on acoustic guitar as well I love the chord progressions.

I forgot to mention Clocks on the piana! Everyone's favorite even though the radio killed it!

On the acoustic guitar: Careful Where You Stand, I Bloom Blaum, Brothers & Sisters, See You Soon, Don't Panic, Shiver, Spies, Yellow, We Never Change, Green Eyes, AROBTTH.

On the Electric Guitar: Bigger Stronger, Brothers & Sisters, Shiver, Spies, High Speed, The Scientist, Warning Sign, AROBTTH, Square One, White Shadows, Talk, SOS, 42, Lovers in Japan, Chinese Sleep Chant.

On the piano: Politik, A Ghost, Amsterdam/Life Is For Living, Trouble, Clocks, Speed of Sound, For You, Life In Technicolor, DAAHF's.

Think thats all of them :P

you could not find a shorter list could you?

well mine would be... uh I have no idea, arobth and green eyes, and yeah I enjoy the simple dont panic

See You Soon, Green Eyes and Moses on guitar, Amsterdam & Violet Hill on piano. I would LOVE to learn how to do Brothers & Sisters on guitar, by the way :)

And I love singing Don't Panic, even though I can't sing all that well.

im learning how to play guitar, and the only songs i know so far are a rush of blood to the head and a bit of yellow and trouble:lol:

You should try Green Eyes, pretty easy & nice to play :)

on piano I like Trouble and The Scientist - even in the dark I could paly it and it wonderful sounds, on guitar Chinese Sleep Chant leads!:D

Definitely DAAHF - so fun to suddenly explode into those chords. Otherwise Life in Technicolour (both) and of course the old favorites Clocks and The Scientist.

I tend to play all of Viva la Vida the most, as it's just the best.

All on Piano of course!

What are the tabs for chinese sleep chant? I tried to play it on acoustic but it sounds nothing like it. I guess the only way to play it is on the electric guitar.

All coldplay songs are nice to play. Especially the guitar based songs. Sparks, yellow, dont panic, green eyes, etc.

Postcards From Far Away. So fun to play. It's my short and sweet "show-off" song whenever I'm playing a piano in public :P

aaah I see :P yeah it's a cool song, unfortunately I can't play it on guitar, it's just too high (and less on flute :P)

I'm working on their next forgotten classic.. It's got a nice switchback about 1/3 through, and a few cool change-ups,. now if only they'd listen!:P
